I mean the OC did win like 3 games for a national championship team.. Don't he make the most sense
He won six, didn't he? But let's be real, Harbaugh was the head coach the other 165 hours of the week.

Either way, yeah, promoting the OC is the cleanest/easiest move, especially given the uncertainty around sanctions. And probably the one they make, even if their fans declared Day and Freeman inexperienced upon getting their big-time HC jobs the same way. But it'll be a step back.

Mostly I'm curious to see if/how their roster holds together.

Seems like Moore is going to be the MF in house favorite to take over. Real popular with the players.

If they do an actual search, that already decimated (compared to this year) roster is going to look like a ghost town. They need to hire Moore

How bad do you think they get poached? Any possibilities for us?

#55 their DT would be my top pick.

Everyone get out your rosaries and go a round and include that they don’t listen and choose to hire BK instead.
What do you think the buyout would be? How much would LSU have to pay to get him off their hands?

As much as I dislike him, the guy can coach. This is a good hire by the chargers
And his players love him at every stop he’s been at. Even former ND DL Sheldon Day admitted he how much he loved & respected Harbaugh despite being a “Michigan man”

I know I shouldn’t ask this question but what in the actual fuck did this post mean? JFC.
It was when the most recent rumor was him returning to Michigan.

Obviously, but I know you're just following around like usual.

I’ll believe that Brian Kelly will give up year round golf when I see it.

I think he’s incredibly polarizing. Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin were pretty upfront about how much they disliked him when they played for him at Stanford.

A lot of the news around when he left the 49ers was that the players were tired of him too.

I think he’s a good coach, and he’ll probably turn the chargers around. I’m sure a lot of players love him, but it seems to be pretty widely accepted that he’s difficult and wears on people. I do think he has a shelf life in the NFL - pro players just aren’t willing to deal with a coach’s crap as much as college kids are. Maybe he’s mellowed out a bit since being at Michigan.

All signs pointing to Sherrone Moore being Harbaugh’s replacement. I wouldn’t necessarily be too upset if they snagged BK, however.

If I’m Michigan, I’m bringing the Brink’s truck to my meeting with Mike Vrabel.

I have a hard time seeing him coaching at Michigan - he’s an Ohio State guy that hasn’t coached in college in 10 years.

I guess it depends on how desperate he is to be coaching next year.

Oh, I completely agree. He just seems most suited as a NFL guy, but if you’re Michigan, swing for the fences, bring your checkbook, and hope for the best.

- Cheats

- Gets suspended multiple times in the same season

- Feels the need to publicly declare innocence immediately after winning the title game

- Allegedly demanded that UM give him termination immunity from any NCAA penalties in contract negotiations

- Pulls the “Pete Carroll NFL escape” maneuver at the first opportunity

Adios shithead.

Tough spot for Michigan.

Going to be real hard to get someone outside of the current staff to entertain an offer with the possibility of severe sanctions hanging over their head.

On the other hand, hiring someone who was likely fully aware of the sign stealing fiasco may not go over real well given the possibility of lack of institutional control.

Apparently it's already decided it's the OC/OL coach but state law required the job to be open for 7 days (lol).

Sorry if it's already been posted or discussed but what are the chances of Golden joining the staff with the Titans with the connection there with Callahan?

I don't know how anyone can gauge the chances when the "connection" is that they were on the same staff in Detroit and Cincinnati. Apart from that no one has said anything yet about if they got along or not, if Golden is a candidate, etc.

They were on opposite sides of the ball and its possible they are nothing more than former colleagues who are acquaintances at best. There is a completely new power structure there too in the front office. There is no telling what direction they're going to go in considering he was just hired and is probably putting the family picture on his desk in his new office.

Vrabel in interviewing with the Carolina Panthers today.

I don't see a return to college ball.
