No doubt losing a ton of studs, but their BCR will still probably be top 5 in FBS. Deboer is a really good coach, if he develops what is still there waiting in the wings they will be good. How good we will have to wait and see.

Applewhite's career has been really bizarre. He got promoted to UH HC when Herman left for Texas and now he's gotten the South Alabama job in the same fashion.

Houston ultimately fired him because he got blown out in a bowl game against Army. He was 15-11 in two full seasons but was 0-3 in bowl games. After only two seasons, I have to wonder was there more to firing him than just being embarrassed by Army.

Then again the bar for that job got set higher because of Sumlin and Herman. Still, only two years doesn't seem like a long time considering he still won more games than lost.

O'Brien, who served as New England's offensive coordinator this season in the NFL, is set to be hired as Ohio State's offensive coordinator, sources tell Bucknuts. O'Brien, who previously served as the head coach at Penn State and the offensive coordinator at Alabama, also coached the Houston Texans. The news was first reported by ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Buffalo has hired South Carolina special teams coordinator and assistant head coach Pete Lembo as its new head coach. He was previously a head coach at Ball State, Elon and Lehigh.

112-65 but hasn't been a head coach in nearly ten years. Interesting hire by UB. Have to think they could have done a bit better.

Yup. He’ll just install a different offense & hire the appropriate OC. Defense shouldn’t be any different. Always struck me as a high character person So I wish him luck.
