Morehead doesn’t even offer athletic scholarships to the football players so I’d say the likelihood of him going there is probably .01%. They are in the same conference as Dayton and Butler some FCS spin-off that doesn’t offer scholarships in football.

Again, Campbell is responsible for most of the bowl games Iowa State has had for the last 40+ years. It’s one of the hardest schools to win at in P5 and he got a Fiesta Bowl W out of it.

I think he had his 15 minutes and now that's over with. He's fine where he is. Should stay at Iowa State as long as they'll have him, and they should probably consider not parting with him for a bit longer.

Yep. Campbell's a good coach but, frankly, he doesn't seem to have quite the wattage for an elite program job. It's hard to imagine him being the face of Notre Dame or Michigan in this day and age.
Maybe some second-tier Big Ten job would make sense for him but several of those have come and gone the last couple of years. Or he can just keep Iowa State competitive in the new Big 12 and probably that's just fine.
