Making that comment isn't the brightest idea and not a way to endear yourself to the Hawaiians, but is it a fireable offense. Also he is a state employee so guessing that is why the state legislature is involved because they would be liable.

One of the players who was interviewed that had quit the program main problem was Graham didn't even know his name. Isn't that what players said about Brian Kelly a few years back? I don't know or have followed Graham's career, but what they are publishing seems to be making a lot about nothing. If there is more, please let me know. Having a coach tell a player he is worthless is pretty much what most have experienced at some point playing a sport.

The coach in question has a history of being a dick, and he probably hasn't won enough for him to be given any kind of protection. Maybe calling an amateur athlete "worthless" at one point was accepted behavior, but having three kids in sports myself currently, if one of their coaches were to call any of my three worthless, I'd probably have a conversation with that coach and look for a new program after. I hope it never comes to that point.

I played HS and collegiate football in the 90s. I was fortunate enough to have been coached in football by two incredibly good men in football at both levels. Belittling and demeaning young men wasn't their style. They were what you'd often call "stoic" but stern and without insulting teenagers.

Hence, Graham was a state employee that had to appear before the state Ways and Means and Higher Education Committees because players have accused him of being mentally and verbally abusive over the course of his tenure head coach. The players wanted a guy like Rolovich, who left for Wazzu, and instead got a guy who from Tulsa to Pitt to Arizona State has been known as a vulgar abrasive jackass. The issues with this guy at Hawaii have been ongoing from the outset and the staff, athletic department and administration have done little to address and or fix them according to what many of the players had said in the testimony. He openly showed contempt for players, especially non starters, Hawaiians, Hawaiian culture and the university.

Yet another guy who got one too many jobs when the athletic department could have done their jobs and searched for someone that didn't come from the big blue bin. Not a guy I'd die on any hill for and is not a victim of any perceived cancellation movement.

LSU defensive analyst Gerald Chatman, who was retained by Brian Kelly on the Tigers staff, has accepted an offer to become the new D-line coach at Tulane.

I was on the Coombs stinks as a DC train early but am also going to now be on that’s a home run hire train. I’d be intrigued who they can sign at CB in the next few cycles with that. Between Sauce, Coby Bryant and Coombs’ track record as CB coaches they should be able to sign pretty high level prospects.

Coombs will be back in his lane and will thrive. Sometimes the whole DC or HC path doesn't pan out. He coached at my high school many years before joining the UC staff and is an absolute stud. His passion for the game and for his players is second to none. It'll be interesting to see where he goes once Luke moves on.

It seems like he has a great niche in Ohio. tOSU, UC. He could probably get into one of the OH MAC schools and thrive as well.

I think he really thought the Colts job would open up, and he would have leapt at it. Since it’s not, I imagine he will be at Michigan until next year, when it is likely to open up again.

He and his agent are out of touch if they thought Reich was a goner. Everyone knows Reich is safe for another couple of years. Now if they underperform again next year you could see Irsay pulling the plug.

Sources tell @247Canes that Travaris Robinson will move on to Alabama.

This is interesting as Miami now has an opening for DC and DB coach I believe. Miami is supposedly very interested in Doug Belk as well.

Auburn is expected to hire ex-Florida linebackers coach Christian Robinson as an assistant coach, sources tell On3

This is a great hire for Auburn. He had been one of the lead recruiters on 10 four-star players that the Gators have signed the past three years. Mullen fought to keep him last year when Harbaugh tried to get him to Michigan.

Kentucky offensive line coach Eric Wolford will join the Alabama staff in the same role.

Good hire by Bama.

This is crazy. Another coach got hired away from another school before he moved into his office. No such thing as loyalty anymore. Part of the problem in the world today.

For the last 5 decades our society has centered around two main points: individualism and money. Now remember what profession you're talking about with that in mind. It's the nature of the beast these days.

Coaches are being fired midway into their third seasons. Loyalty is a two way street.
