You think so? I disagree. He sounded pained that he had to call the Sox/Astros. Hell, he even made a joke that he had to bring up the Yankees during the series. Joe Buck is the worst. Almost as big of a coattail rider as Jim Belushi.

100% believe so. Just watched Game 2 yesterday am and a half hour highlight vid on Youtube. Granted, the Sox were in 8 or 9 great games out of 12. Unbelievable they won 11 of 12. Sweeping Clemens, Pettit & Oswalt and beating Lidge twice? Miraculous.

We're just salty right now. Buck needed something to talk about when the Indians are getting no-hit.

Fair enough. It comes up every year with at least one fan base. Often it's both, which I think is hilarious. He gets stuck on players...Bumgarner, Kershaw, Kluber, Schwarber... Then the opposing fan base thinks he's biased. He's biased toward story lines.

So Schwarbs didn't get cleared to play the field. He'll be available to pinch hit. I'm disappointed he can't play. He's a game changer on offense. But his health is most important and I'm glad they made the decision that erred on the side of caution. The Cubs will be okay.

He'll get an at-bat each ball game, just needs to make the most of it. I know Kyle isn't cleared for the field, but if he was can Rizzo not play the outfield and put Schwarb at first?

Rizzo hasn't played OF in his entire professional career. He's also one of the best 2-3 1B defenders in the league. So you'd be creating a major liability at two positions at the same time. That's not something Joe Maddon would do.

This.

Maddon likes defense.

The Cubs have enough on offense to get by, especially when Hendricks is on the mound.

Ok, just asking...Kyle never played outfield in his whole life either. He was a catcher in college.

Rizzo, to me, just seems like the better athlete and more adapt to playing the outfield (could be wrong). I know it is a defensive liability, although not so much at first base and regardless you'd have an issue in left field if you put Kyle in the lineup...just depends how bad you want/need that bat in the lineup I guess.

You don't play all star/franchise F3s in the outfield in the major leagues.

He played LF at IU.

It's a fair question. I think Rizzo could be an okay outfielder (right field, only), but I don't see it happening now.

I also just looked it up...Schwarber played 36 games in LF in the minors and 72 at catcher. Thought it was more skewed to catcher. Interesting.

Not sure I'd put money on the Cubs at this point, but there's a chance.

I'm also glad that there are no more "the Cubs haven't ______ since _____" except for winning the thing. Finally won a game at Wrigley in the World Series, etc.

If the Cubs can win Game 6, can you imagine Kluber on short rest twice against Hendricks on normal rest in game 7? Would be epic.

Man I wanted that one, but that's basically what I expected with Bauer. Glad we didn't pitch Miller he will be super rested come Tuesday.

Tomlin has been lights out and our bats are much more consistent at home. Winning two there is about all we could have asked for.

One more game wooo.

Hopefully

Friday was a must-win for the Cubs and they failed miserably. Their bats are silent and it's a horrible feeling as a fan to constantly see 0-for and 1-for next these guys' names on a per series basis.

Saturday, I expected to lose against Kubler, but I didn't expect to get killed like that.

Thank God they won last night and didn't swept at home.

There's still a chance, albeit, a very very slim one. Arietta and Hendricks left and Schwarber back in the lineup. Gut check time.

The winner of Game 6 is the World Series Champion. Call your bookie and send me my vig on Thursday.

To be fair, Cleveland is having an incredible run pitching this postseason. They've given up 25 runs in 13 games. 5 games with the Cubs = 10 runs. 5 games with the Blue Jays = 8 runs. 3 games with the Red Sox = 7 runs.

There's a shot. Again, I don't expect to win, but Jake could be lights out. Maybe Tomlin is due to get hit. Then you take your chances with Kluber on double short rest.

Who knows...

They've out dueled all the big timers they've faced this post season so far - besides Kluber - but this is the 3rd time seein' him, the bats are alive and those Indian collars are tight after losing a 3-1 advantage in the sloppy manner they did.

Gotta love where the Cubs are sitting.

Looks like Cleveland is going to have a pitching change tonight:

Darren Rovell
ESPN Senior Writer
Charlie Sheen is being flown into Game 7 by Cleveland entrepreneurs Bobby George of Corporate Management Group & Tony Madalone owner of apparel company Fresh Brewed Tees. Said Madalone: "We're die hard Clevelanders and wanted to do this for the fans."

Good season by the Tribe. A great unexpected run but just ran out of arms. It's been fun in NEO over the last month.

Tribe's lineup has shit the bed for three straight games. No reason to think they will actually show up now. What a shame they are ending their season like a bunch of pussies.
