Is Jaden Greathouse still banged up? Hasn't caught a single pass since OSU.
I don’t know but he was sleep walking through the first part of the game. Had a nice block on Hartman’s long TD run but had some poor effort on multiple routes. Got bullied bad on some

Sick of that excuse

We all are but it doesn't change the fact that the WR room was a disaster and we're still less than two years from Del. There's a reason we were all so pissed two years ago. It's because we knew we were going to be paying the piper for his shit recruiting over the next 3 years.

If Sam Hartman gets spooked by a pick, then he must be cowering in fear because he's thrown 7 in the last 4 games.

At least Freeman is honest. Hartman plays scared and it spreads to everyone else on the team
i hate it that i'm down on freeman right now because he seems like a genuinely great individual. he's gonna back next year and i hope and pray that he can turn this around.

a qb change couldn't come at a better time. we have two weeks to get angeli and minchey ready for the next game.

Yeah, the problem with going back to the run game when you’re playing from behind is that your best back in Estime isn’t gonna hit a big one to quickly get you back in the game.

He’s great for sure but if he had more speed a couple of his longer runs today would’ve been house calls.

This… freeman will be back unless we lose next two or 3 games

How long it takes to move on from Parker will be telling… need to now so every good offensive coach in the world knows ND has a OC opening and nd starts going after them asap

I'd really rather not be Tight End U anymore if this is what not having the tight end there is going to look like.

Two things can be true at the same time. So here are my two truths: The potential of this passing game rests on true freshmen and high school seniors right now. Second, Gerad Parker has not been able to figure out what to do about that and now that Evans is out for the year, his passing game has absolutely nothing to fall back on.

So it's Rees and Del leaving that room the way it was and Parker not being able to make anything of it.

This result today doesn't surprise me at all. Disappoint, yes, but this is what the offense is right now. No game is a gimme because of it.

Agreed. But, say, a swing pass to Love or getting Price out in space could change the game in a hurry.

Painful to watch
I said Wednesday it would be won in the trenches and so it was
Parker seems to be calling plays real time and struggles to make quick decisions. As a result, he fails to call any misdirection. Clemson D was running downhill all day.
Hard to win those battles when the opponent has you figured out presnap
Overall we got out coached

they had the drop on us in the trenches on both sides of the ball for most of the game.

Yep. You take away Hartman’s pick six, or Tyree’s muffed punt, or that drive in the second quarter where neither Hart nor Morrison were on the field and Klubnick threw six for six and this is exactly the low-scoring rock fight we all expected.

And until we figure out an offense that’s how it’s going to be against any defense with a pulse.

We cannot afford to lose either of these last two games. It will define the program and the Freeman regime. So you go with Sam. If he's good, we'll win easily and you can pull him and give #2 some game reps. If he's bad, you definitely can pull him.

Wake Forest almost beat Clemson, we need to treat this as a real game and not some next year tryout bullshit.

Next two games only matter for recruiting… season is over. freeman repeatedly stated how were bowl eligible last 2 weeks so clearly that was his goal to get a 13th guaranteed game

Someone needs to get to the bottom of why Hart, Morrison and Harper were all on the sidelines on that drive. Lewis missed the tackle on the TD. Then Harper comes back in. Where the hell was he, taking a piss?

na. we got nothing left to play for this year. we're going to the toilet bowl or the other toilet bowl. may as well see what we have.

EDIT
not saying that winning the next three games aren't important, but if we need hartman to beat wake and stanford then we're in big trouble.
