Sorry, missed my 2nd attack. Had the hogs cooked, but the wife wasn't feeling well and I ended up with the 3 kids for the rest of the night. Now I've got all these hogs and no where to go. On the bright side, I ate 7 attacks before they finally 3 starred me, so even without my 2nd attack I made a good impact.

Yeah no worries. We've hit a couple buzzsaws recently. This clan used all 90 attacks...

OK here is some shop talk on Clan Wars...
The absolute best way to war is... assuming even matchups... to have each person attack their own number at the start of the war. Sometimes, this doesn't make sense, because matchups will be crazy (I remember once being #2 in clan and having my recommended be #13).
But if everyone does this then, if you don't suck, you should be able to get about 2 stars on your equivalent. There is really no excuse for not getting 1-2 at TH9 and above, because you can use either GoWiWi, GoWiPe, or Dragloons. Any of those attack strategies played correctly is worth 2 stars. And at TH8 and below, you should be able to dragon people.
Then, on second attacks, you start at the bottom and work upwards. So in 40v40, #39 would attack #40 if it's not 3 starred, and if it was go to the next one that has available stars. And so on, and so forth. So you'll have things like #25 attacking #35 if people keep messing up. This is by far the most effective way to maximize net star gain. And then you have the heaviest hitters (top 5ish) hold their second attacks for the end in case they need to take some risks for more stars.
Make sense?
If this can't be done well due to a lack of participation, then the rule needs to be that no one can attack higher than 5 below their number (so #10 can't attack higher than #15) on their first attack unless they wait until the last 4 hours. This is messier but has a similar net effect.

Yeah, I just got kicked too by s.komar (FUSC btw). Actually been getting my attacks in lately, hadn't attacked yet in this war though. Surprised I got kicked quite frankly. Even if I hadn't been getting my attacks in lately (Which I had been), for at least a few months now I've been eating enemy clan attacks and surviving. I usually eat 4-8 attacks before they get a 3 star on me, if they get one at all. Apparently that's not useful in a Clan War. Spent a lot of time researching Clan War base designs and making tweaks...but fuck it.

Reuben. Yeah, I would have changed it if I could, that's not even my name in real life. Whenever I did my requests I usually added my IE handle to it so I could hopefully alleviate the confusion.

I4l just need you to work on raiding in feeder. Would love to have you back in a week or two. Need some help with raids and you're not in chat often so its hard.
Reuben its hard to keep booting people for lack of participation and you not participate as often as you do. Love for you to stick around as well but I had to act on it this time.
Its obviously a game guys and we all have fun but I have to keep it as fair as possible. Not a permanent thing and I hope you guys stick around. Hope to see you guys back up in a week or two.
