I know this much, while you sox and tribe fans fight over last place and who has the shittier stadium, my Halos are straight killin the ball, and opponents, and are making a push for first place.... yesir!

Oh my.... an Angels fan just tried calling out the Chicago parks. If it weren't for Tropicana, you'd be dead last. Chicago will always have the two best parks because of the glorious culinary delights distributed by the vendors. Nothing comes close.

Whatever. I go all the time. Its WAY at the bottom of MY list. I Dont care how many Princesses are walking around or the gianourmous ad spots for the Rock's next movie they have. The stadium is gimmicky, has no tradition and the food is abismal. If not for Cali IPA's flowing freely and teams I want to see coming in, not even Mike Trout would make me go more than the occasional free ticket situation.

It's Ohio, I'm there all the time, it sucks. It has always sucked and will always suck. There's nothing to do in Cleveland but watch the Indians and stand around saying "O-H,"

I don't know what your hobbies or interests are, but there is plenty to do in Cleveland. Cedar Point Amusement Park is only an hour away, in Sandusky. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is right there, offering a plethora of outdoor activities including hiking, biking trails, kayaking, canoeing, etc. Lake Erie has a couple of opportunities for outdoor recreation. Cold, snowy Winters tend to limit the options, but in good weather if you can't find something fun to do, that's on you.

Woah, no hard feelings bro! I used to word "literally" twice to imply that I was speaking figuratively.

There actually is a bit to do there, granted not as much to do as Chicago, but being from the eastern half of Indiana I am obligated from birth to hate on everything Ohio. I have many a friend from Ohio, and I make all of them cry on a regular basis.

But really though, you do hate the OH-IO thing, right?

I just ignore it. It is more an Ohio State University thing than an "Ohio thing".

There is only ONE fumble in the entirety of Cleveland Browns football:

Please blow this fucking team up already. Start with Rick Hahn & Kenny Williams, and work your way down until nothing is left.

ABSOLUTELY AGREE.

Those two need to be gone tomorrow. Robin next. I'm 27 and Robin was my favorite player growing up, right after the Big Hurt. Where is the guy that charged Nolan Ryan back in the mid 90s? It's like the dude had a lobotomy or something. He just doesn't have it as a manager. Time to move on.

My only untouchables currently on the big league roster are Abreu, Quintana, Saladino, and Rodon. I like Avi Garcia and his potential, but he is a liability in the field. Basically he's Viciedo with better offensive stats. I'm hoping with his solid start the other day, Danks is somehow a tradeable asset for SOMEBODY. The only member of the coaching staff I'd keep is Coop. What does Harold Baines bring to the table as a coach?

I'm torn on either trading Sale, or building around him. On one hand, he's a top-5 starter in all of the MLB. On the other hand, he would bring a type-A prospect from another club, especially given the fact that he's under team control for a couple more seasons, yet.

I never thought I'd want to see Ozzie back, but I'd take him in a heartbeat. Sometimes I think Coop might have to check Robin's pulse between innings.

I love Sale, but he'd be spinning his wheels here during a rebuild. Might as well let him have the career he deserves, and stock the farm in the meantime.

What the hell is wrong with you? Let me guess you can't stand Hawk either? I don't understand why everyone wanted Ozzie gone to begin with. He would have this current team in first place, that I have no doubt. The problem with Ozzie's last years was that the team was built with veterans who felt entitled and didn't want to hear Ozzie bagging on them. Well guess what, they needed it.

As far as this current team, if you get an Ozzie type coach, keep them all. If you're content with Robin, nuke the whole place including Sale. Time for a reboot.

Agree on the Ozzie sentiment, and was very upset when he was fired. IMO it had nothing to do with him rubbing vets the wrong way, and everything to do with him rubbing Reinsdorf's little lap puppet KW the wrong way.

Oh man... Had to double check the address bar, thought maybe I clicked the White Sox Interactive icon by accident! If Schwarber has a few more errors for the Cubs behind the plate, send them CarRod and right the wrong.

I have mixed opinions with Ozzie, because his managerial skills seemed to drop off big time around 2009. Not to mention his antics got old, and without the success to balance it out, Ozzie was wearing out his welcome. I don't think the Sox were wrong to fire him, as he proved that he was done as a manager when he went nuclear in Miami (they were a bad team, but he made them worse).

They were wrong in hiring Ventura. I'd prefer to keep Hahn, but fire Kenny. He should've been gone 5 years ago. Hahn is actually working his ass off to rebuild the farm system, and making good acquisitions. It's Ventura's responsibility to make it work. How in the blue soaked hell do you have a lineup with Abreu, Avi, LaRoche, Eaton, Cabrera and manage to suck this bad offensively? I expected at least AVERAGE numbers from these guys and given how good the pitching has been (even Danks has been tolerable as of late), but sweet buttery jesus is the offense horrible.

I wouldn't mind a rebuild, as this team isn't going anywhere with Ventura, and the pieces are in place to speed up the rebuild and Hahn has gotten the farm system up to at least average. Who do you guys see replacing Ventura? Because I got nothing.

Interesting post by Matt Sigel today on twitter! Do they really think they aren't sellers? Might be one of the worst orginzations in all of baseball, kind if sad!

Indeed. Kinda sad to see Shark do so well with us, only to see him depart within the week.

This organization is a total f*cking disgrace. F*ck Kenny and f*ck Ventura.

If Rodon looks like that every outing, I'll start printing shirts that read, Schwarber who? He's gonna be a great one.

Boy did they need that 4 game sweep. Now can we not follow this up with a 5 game losing streak? Perhaps I'm asking too much.

They are frustrating, offense especially, but over the last month they have finally showed some signs of life. Sanchez is finally seeing big league pitching, his glove is ++, Melky Cabrera decdied to show up at the plate, and the pitching staff has been on lockdown. First time since 1972 that they have had 5 consecutive starters not give up a walk. Might be too little too late.. Lot of rumors that Shark will get traded for prospects only to resign in the offseason. They have lined up Erik Johnsons starts in the minors to be on the same schedule as Shark should they pull the trigger. Hopefully if it does happen those prospects include a catcher.

5 games out from wildcard, 4 games under 500.. Just want to point out to all you Cubs fans who think you are winning the WS this year.. Sox are 5 games behind you in wins, 4.5 based on games played. Both teams are dismal at the plate, but at least the Sox are starting to hit with the warm weather and the Cubs, have gone ice cold at the plate.

Shark will get traded and resign. It's good to have the local kid, who grew up a fan of your club on the team. I hope they compensate him nicely for the strategy. I hope he's as understanding with it as I've heard.

Over their last 30 games, the Sox are 18-12. IF they can keep that up, that'd get em to 86 wins. They're tied with all of the WC hopefuls in the loss column except Baltimore who has one less at 49. So you're saying there's a chance. Probably not, but at least the season is more fun when the games mean something.

Couldn't agree more.. Its actually been fun to watch some of the young guys come up and contribute, or start figuring it out. What a pleasant addition and surprise Saladino has been. There was a good article on Johnson as well that says he figured it out in AAA and he is chomping at the bit for an opening to happen back in the bigs.

Might not make it this year, but at least their 3 year plan they are committed to is showing a little more life right now as opposed to the life support it was on through June.

Another thrashing last night, and all is very very quiet on the Shark front. Everything I have read is he is staying put.. Now 2.5 back in Wild Card, and 1 game under 500. Hate them or love them its nice to see them battling and not giving up on the team or season.
