13 lbs lighter from last year. Looks and sounds very locked in so far this preseason.

Everything I've heard makes me think Caleb and the offense is taking the next step. This could be a very fun year

Way too many injuries this preseason, which concerns me. Division is very good.

Ben Johnson is truly wired like a crazy person. The guy is driven.

Injuries happen every year, the flip side is how quickly Trapilo is coming back from his patellar tendon. I didn't expect him to play at all this year, but it sounds like he might be available after the start of the season.

And yeah we should be thankful Ben Johnson channeled his insanity into football and not say wearing women's skin as clothing.

Soft tissue injuries happen frequently under Dennis Allen. They are pulling people off of the street to play in the secondary. This is at a more alarming rate and needs to be monitored.

I'm curious to see what Davenport can do.

Caleb's escapability is tied to his speed imo. He's younger than Lamar, but LJ was noticeably slower the year he bulked up to deal with hits.

I thought the same thing, but this is ultimately the way. His speed and quickness are going to benefit from this.

This was mainly him getting more sleep and not eating after 7 PM.

yeah im not going to agree with the thought that the injuries are not a big deal. this defense was not good last year and was saved by a complete statistical outlier of turnovers.

almost all of those guys are gone and the replacements are all out. offense better be locked in because they might need 35 a game to win.

Don't know if this is a joke but WTF difference does it make? Its going to be well under a stadium that is occupied for a few hours a week, 10 weeks out of the year? Gotta love environmental regs.

I don't know. A football stadium that seats 80,000 people is kinda heavy. You're right though, this is just what's on the surface. I'm sure when they start to dig really far down to put in a foundation, it'll be fine. It's Hammond, Indiana after all.

This is going to take getting used to. You have generations of Bears fans that only know Butkus, Singletary and Urlacher. If you can't handle motion sickness, don't get on the ride.

It'll be a great test to see exactly how legit this offense is. I'm sure Caleb and Co will score points, but exactly how much can they be stifled by an elite defense? They were #3 in last year's Defensive DVOA and they don't look to have fallen off much if at all

It's going to help facing Carson Wentz instead of Kyler Murray. If the Bears sniff near 50 points again, I think we're looking at what could be a tremendously exciting year. This coach is all the good kinds of crazy.
