Mitch is fine. He got off to a rough start, but he was getting no help from his offense and playcalling. Monday was a huge sigh of relief, as Mitch played well and showed progress.

I'm infinitely more concerned with the OL. They've been horrible all year. Long is a complete waste of space. The Whitehair-Daniels position switch has been a failed experiment. Leno has regressed and Massie has been hurt. They need to get that figured out.

I 100% agree on the OL.. Longs last year on the team no doubt

I'm wondering how long it'll be until Bars is called up from the practice squad.

Im sure we will follow up soon. That idiot from the Suntimes that says the Bears owe it to us to tell us, is an asshat, they don't owe us anything, and Roquan doesn't either.

Agree, but very curious. What are you thinking?

Domestic?
Substance?
Mental Health?
Team Dispute?

Looks like Roquan is back

Thats good news. Another conspiracy I was just reading about was he refused to play last week because of the uniforms. They were 1936 throwbacks, from the segregation era.

Weird week long saga. Glad its over.

A LOT of bad to discuss on this game. Horrible defense in the first half, horrible special teams AGAIN (fire Chris Tabor yesterday!)

Daniel sucked, but that should've been expected.

But the guy who pisses me off the most is a guy people on here are not gonna like me bashing:

Harry Hiestand.

There's no getting around it. The OL has been brutal all season and has regressed considerably since Hiestand took over.

Leno has been awful, Whitehair and Daniels have struggled, Long is horrid. Seems like Massie is the only guy worth a crap and he's nothing special either. Daniel threw some horrible passes on his own, but he was getting drilled almost every other play against the Raiders awful defense. I mean, FFS, they rush 3 and they're still getting into the backfield. I feel awful for Montgomery. Poor kid can't get a handoff without having 2 defenders in his face.

What happened to HH? The guy was so revered at ND, and suddenly his OL coaching has become garbage.

I'd say he's good coaching elite talent. Pretty much the M.O. for most coaches.

Feel bad for Mack. Dude wants nothing more than to beat his old team, and his new team does him like that. Thats not cool.

You knew the offense would be stagnant, but the staggering number of missed tackles was alarming to say the least.

I'm officially on the "fire Hiestand" bandwagon.

There's absolutely no getting around it, this may be the worst offensive line in the NFL. It really pisses me off that 90% of the complaining is towards Trubisky and the other 9% is for Nagy.

Barely anything on this offensive line. Trubisky can't go more than 2 seconds without his pocket completely imploding on him. People complain about him being inaccurate, but he's got maybe 2 seconds before he's got Dion Jordon barrelling at him or the Saints hands are up in the pocket and he can't see sh*t.

How this line has regressed so immensely in just an offseason is a astonishing. I'm absolutely amazed. Doesn't help that Nagy doesn't run it near enough, but I can imagine the run blocking is so abysmal that he doesn't even bother.

Their OL is bad, but I don't know that it's the worst in the NFL.

That defense REALLY misses the Hicks fellow.

I don't think Trubisky lasts 10 more games with the kind of protection he's getting. He's already gotten one shoulder blown up.

Shoulder came from him running and trying to make a play near the sidelines. The OL is struggling, but for f sake try to establish a run, and also, hit the wide open WR's when they are wide open.

Ive seen this dumpster fire play out before, terrible oline, qb and playcalling. And leaving the defense on the field all game long.

What the f*ck did I do to deserve such horrendous offenses from both my teams?

So much optimism for both ND and the Bears this year and nothing but disappointment to show for it.

The decision making yesterday was questionable, which is a massive understatement.

I think the honeymoon for Matt Nagy is over with. He's not putting Trubisky or the rest of his team in a position to do well. Trubisky seems like a pretty mobile guy. Roll him out, move him around a bit maybe? You see Rodgers and Wilson do this, be it by design or not, and it works. Romo was the same.

Get him out of the pocket and let him try to make plays on the run instead of planting him back there to get killed.

The red zone situations in that game yesterday were horrendous.

Someone needs to hold a sign at the next game that says:

WAKE ME WHEN VIRGINIA MCCASKEY IS DEAD

This is a fucking joke

Sounds like they're doubling down on #10 and he's their guy. It's rather stunning, really.

Really big season coming up for Mr. Pace and Mr. Nagy.

I would love the Bears drafting Kmet. It's a great fit for value and need, plus ND and being a hometown guy

I'm not sure what choices they have. They made some win now moves by trading away draft picks (shortening their window of contention) and I don't think their cap situation allows them to make a serious run at a big name free agent.

I guess their best shot is to try and keep the defense together and hope things start to click for Trubisky. At least it's a WR-heavy draft this year.

Ill believe it when I see it.. I know they are saying that right now, but they are going to have to sign a QB to compete.. He said as much.. Pace already has egg all over his face for trading up to get Mitch. He has to have a proven QB to come in and take over when Mitch regresses again. I hope Mitch proves me wrong.

They have the defense and a chance at the running game... it's a copy cat league and the 9ers just showed the template here. All I got...

Interesting performance by Trubisky yesterday. I am not sure what to say. He looked like a professional QB for the last quarter but couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a banjo for the first three.

I don't think he can play. Matter of time before they see Foles. The window of opportunity on this defense is closing fast.
