Changes for NCAA 13

Yeah this is beyond frustrating. Nothing was worse than having your tight end on a seam or your receiver a deep crossing route seemingly wide open, but then when you throw the ball it gets batted out of the air 12+ feet off the ground by some super linebacker. Cost me so many 3rd-and-longs.

I don't adjust sliders much in games... FIFA, NCAA, The Show... whatever... I just play on the hardest mode as is....

usually... but if there is an obvious game breaking flaw (like the superlinebacker issue) I play with the sliders and slightly make the game play more 'real'...

No 'glitch' in any game has made me go more drastic than that one... My heisman sliders are untouched except for INTS turned all the way to zero... seriously... I think it calls for it at times...

I hate that I HAVE to have a FB for ND. ND doesn't use one, so why should I have to have one?

Also, RTG end of game take about 5 minutes with every replay. This needs to be skippable.

85 man rosters and make it so you can't cut unless they get hurt or become academically ineligible.

Add those to things in more often. More career ending injuries and have players make off the field and classroom mistakes.

Better defensive playbooks. ND runs a 3-4 but doesn't have a single 4-3 play in the playbook?

putting your backup running back there kinda helps because when ur calling plays u can ajust it from normal (Wood) to fullback (Gray or Roberson) or backup running back (George Atkinson III or Riddick)

bottom line is i have next to no faith they will change anything that needs it... the current gen. of this game has been a complete fail sadly... fun game, I like it because it's cfb, but yeah,... It was money on last gen... and has been completely hamfisted on the current.

Does anyone remember in MLB 05 (the one with Manny on the cover) they had a create a team mode where you can design your stadium and players. If they did Create a College for it I may never stop playing.

Only if you do a position change. If you just put them at FB in the depth chart it doesnt change their ratings.

Sounds promising especially that they are changing the read-react system

I won't be satisfied till it explicitly states we will no longer after super linebackers and back peddling and sitting 15 yrds back cornerbacks

Failing the "fill all needs" goal doesn't affect much if you are winning in your dynasty, so what I usually do when I need a FB is recruit a top "receiving" TE and move them to FB in off-season position changes. Nice H-back option. Also, I change Formation Subs and put Riddick or Gray at the FB position in ND's two-back shotgun set if I want to get some spread-triple option working.

I haven't mentioned it here, I don't think, but blocking REALLY needs worked on. Double teams are less effective than one-on-one blocking. It makes very little sense.

Running as a whole needs revamped. In real life, the linebackers are usually tackling the runner. In the game, it's either the D-line, an LB in the backfield, or a DB.

There needs to be more of a pounding it out feel. The lines should be pushing each other as opposed to standing and holding each other until inevitably the O-lineman gets beat.

Honestly, for the most part, they need to completely scrap the physics engine for both Madden and NCAA and start over... it's like a last gen engine on the current console...

again, take notes from NBA 2k, MLB The Show, FIFA, and NHL... these are all titles that were either non-existent or behind NCAA in the last gen...... now each is FAR ahead of this title.

EA is doing an hour long podcast on new features. This one concerns the graphics and audio. If you have time to watch it, check it out.

Personally, I like how they are going to stadiums around the country to record the crowds and chants. They sound way better and will definitely add to the atmosphere of the game.

I'd like if for the coaching carousel you could be asked questions by athletic directors interviewing you, maybe in an animation where you have a sit down in the AD's office. I'd like the coaches to be able to make their own staffs, email the administration like in the basketball games and get alumni challenges and benefits that would lead to facility upgrades. Also to discipline their players. I'd like an 85 man roster. And I would like the return of academics to RTG.

Yeah they addressed it on the podcast andthey did a segment where they compared sound from the current game and previewed sound for upcoming game. And it sounded a ton better.

That would take so much work though! Making games isn't about doing hard things, its about taking over rival businesses so that you have the only football game on the market and then doing the bare minimum!

There are so many things EA SHOULD do with this game to improve it. EA has the money, manpower, and technology to do so yet they don't Why? They make money. EA knows they have hardcore gamers that love the NCAA Football series. Instead they market to fringe fans and parents who will buy the game "for fun." Hence why we have had stupid game modes like the mascot game. Think about it..... The game, on the old gen, had chain gangs. Now the series has been on PS3 and 360 for 5 years, STILL NO CHAIN GANGS.

My point is we all know there should be:
85 man roster
chain gangs
interactive sidelines
in depth dynasty modes
AD mode
More developed postitions (X,Y, MLB, WLB, Etc)
No super LBs
and so on.

The problem is until there is competition and/or die hard fans really voice discontent such as not buying the game EA will tweak little things and claim it to be a BRAND NEW game.
