I think because everyone assumed Carr is gone, and they aren't improving their stock by playing a 5th year.

They may be hurting themselves playing every snap and having a lot of good plays but also a lot of bad/tired routes on film.

I definitely think Carr should return another year, but who knows where his head will be at after the season. I thought preseason no shot he's returning. If he returns, that opens the door for a bunch of other players that could want to return. I doubt Faison or greathouse want to return with a new QB.
Ah I get it. That does make good sense. Wonder what they would think if Minchey decided to return? Just don’t see anything out there for Greathouse. Might make in NIL dough staying or leaving for some so so school.

They're just flying to the ball. 😢 Didn't see that at all in Provo

I remember the way Sneed and Kiser flew to the ball on the first drive and knew they were gonna give UGA hell. Not sure where that went. Bowen is every bit the talent Kiser was. KVA is def more talented.

Also KVA needs to be playing 85% of the snaps in the game if not more. Kid shouldn't be takin out of the game unless he needs to. Let the other guys fight for the other LB spot.

I think they want one of Bowen and KVA on the field at all times. That's why they split them up with 4 and 3.

I was the same game plan as the first half vs Wisconsin and we all saw how that went. Still confused why they just didn't play to their strength and go down swinging.

I just rewatched the 3rd TD drive. Easily the most frustrating of the three.

A 23 yard run, basically the only good RB run of the game where Kasper takes out Shuler and Moore.

A 12 yard swing pass where Shuler can tackle him after 4 or so and gets juked out of his cleats

An 11 yard reverse where neither Keeley/Ausberry contain, Moore is loafing around and Shuler is blocked 15 yards into the end zone. Do credit Gray for caring.

It was the only TD drive that isn’t there impressive from Bear. Had little that special going. Just bench worthy performances from our stars. The first TD drives have Bear making some plays that hey, hand up didn’t think he could make. There is no fire Ash, don’t play zone referendum to make. This was just gross BS from our defense effort wise.

The intensity, attention to detail and leadership just isn’t there for what ever reason. My opinion is we have a bunch of players that look like they afraid to get hurt after being told they were first round picks all offseason

Shuler and Moore don't look right. We miss Tae.

No traore is huge difference.

Poor skill player utilization.

Carr just a bit off all game.

Bye week hitting just right.

MF has shown he knows how right the ship and go on a run.

You've got to wonder how much the defense was limited by injured and ejected personnel. Still...embarrassing.

I actually agree that the bye week comes at a good time. I know a lot of the board wants to watch the team vent their frustration on Navy this week, I think we need to get healthy and regroup. I hope the bye is enough time to locate a garbage can big enough for all of Ash's plans and schemes for the defense for the rest of the year and we can fine tune to something that actually works with our team.

I thought that was the fake field goal @Mich St. The fake succeeded because a blocker ran downfield and tackled two defenders.

Also:

1964: Phantom Hold @Southern Cal
1990: Phantom Clip in the Orange Bowl
2004: 100 yards of phantom PI vs Pitt.
2009: about 17 free points for Michigan on phantom penalties

Real question: when was the last time we got the benefit of a late questionable call that went in our favor to win a game? There might be some blatant penalties on other teams that went our way, but when was the last time we possibly screwed another team with a late call? I can't think of one off hand.

haven’t watch yet:

Just gonna skip the Shuler plays, I mean it was all day. Besides that….

The first two TD drives I am not up in arms about. First you got Traore. Then honestly did a single person here think Bear was gonna rip a dig or TE sail route on the money? I kinda tip my cap for an opening script there and some money throws. Second drive more of it, didn’t have Bear ripping a slant against man perfect placement or hitting a backside dig under pressure on point. No idea what McKinney thinks he’s doing there notwithstanding. I watched this and mainly thought Bear was just a lot better than I ever expected we would see.

Get Traore back, get KVA healthy, get Tae back, get Moore healthy, figure out the Shuler issue and let’s ride
