I have lived in New Orleans for a third of my life. The number of LSU fans that I have had to listen to telling me that Brian Kelly is a changed man and he's going to dominate the SEC and he just needed to be somewhere that wasn't Notre Dame to truly show his excellence... it just drove me nuts because of course I was wrong. Why else would LSU poach him and pay him $100,000,000? And those two bad losses last year, that stung even more because we weren't sure what we got in MF.

But after over a decade of watching him coach, I knew this was coming at some point. Brian Kelly will be like Jimbo Fisher in the SEC, he'll win a couple here or there but he'll usually underperform compared to what he has talent wise and get rolled in most big games. He might "stabilize" the program, but I doubt he'll ever progress beyond the occasional sneaking into the SEC Championship on a year like last year when Alabama struggles.

And now, the team looks night and day different under Freeman than it did with Kelly. Modern, fast, aggressive, and competent. And LSU looks how ND did under Kelly.

LSU fans will take the “just gotta execute better” schtick literally.

I wonder if some of those "ND fans are just salty" folks down on the bayou are starting to see that, no, we aren't. Watching a guy with a punchable face get embarrassed is the apex of schadenfreude. BK is a huckster and now he's their ($100 million) problem.

Maybe this is sour grapes but…he kinda looked beat to shit on the sideline.

Unhealthy. Rough.
Thought the same during the halftime interview with Holly Rowe. Dude looks like he's put on 15 years. I guess those 3 days of divorce proceedings were rough.

There’s no way this is a serious tweet…
