LOL if there was ever a roster devoid of talent for him to make...

He's got a good chance to solidify as #2 on that roster, and if Smith ends up the starter he could get injured. Glad Brady is getting another chance. Once again he won't let Pete Carrol get the best of him if he can help it.

Even at the league minimum...more money than I'd make in about a 15 years.

I'm happy for him.

I was half-joking. Of course I'm happy he landed a job and his career will continue. But the Jets organization might be the worst in the NFL. I'm a fan of Tebow and felt sorry for the way they treated him. I hope Brady gets a fairer shake.

The Browns are the only other team that could possibly top the Jets, followed closely by the Raiders.

Fantasy Football strategy.....have whatever defense is playing the Raiders that week.

I'm not sure if I should be happy or feel sorry for him.

Getting paid a great salary to keep charts and stay in shape. I find his situation kind of like a dream job. Not to mention, tough get concussed on the sidelines.

Tebow was released by 3 teams in the last eighteen months.

He was NEVER an NFL quality QB. People need to stop drinking the Tebow Kool-Aid.

I mean, seriously, if you cannot unseat Mark Sanchez or Ryan Mallett.....

I'll give you Sanchez, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mallett pulled an Aaron Rogers (to a lesser extent) when Brady retires.

The 2011 Pittsburgh Steelers might disagree.

And, he was never given a fair shot to unseat Sanchez. The Jets screwed him. I wouldn't be surprised if Quinn gets screwed too.

Owner was pretty adamant that he didn't want Tebow. Too much sideshow, I think.

Arena Football is ALL about being able to throw and to make QUICK, DECISIVE decisions, things that Tebow NEVER has been able to do.

I think that they throw the ball more than he can handle, as well.

I just think he should give it up and go into motivational speaking.

I know he could be good at that for a little while and make a darn good living, too.

I mean Jacksonville. Don't think they want him. Totally agree about Arena ball. He also has that loooooooong release. That's death in the arena game.

I got stuck yesterday and had to take Denarius Moore as a wide out because I realized I had 3 starters with the same bye week. DOH!! I have 9 weeks to pick up someone better. I had him last year and he did OK. I read where he is pretty much a problem on a bad team this year. After I drafted him, of course.

I never said he was not a leader, but honestly that was ALL luck that they beat PIT, including the fact that their best DB could not play the game because of the altitude.

That time won in SPITE of Tebow because their defense was among the best in the league.

Just take a look at the way that the Pats mauled the Broncos the next week. Even with a fantastic defense, they got blown out because the Pats never ever felt the need to respect TT's "throwing ability".

And Sanchez was and is always going to be better than Tebow. And if Tebow felt that he was not going to get a fair shake in NY, then DO NOT sign the contract!

People act as if he had no choice in the matter.

AND

Yeah, Mallett COULD be a greatly underrated QB, but he won't be in NE because Brady is not going to retire for a few years and he won't want to wait for six years.

This is not akin the Young/Montana or Favre/Rodgers situation because the backups were EQUALLY capable QBs.

Mallett has a rocket arm but his mental capabilities may not be on the same level as Young and Rodgers.

****ing Hilarious. Sanchez isn't in the top 40-50 QB's in the league. Tebow has accuracy issues but at least he makes you respect his running. Sanchez can't hit the broadside of a ****ing barn plus he can't move.

I hate Sanchez more than anyone but come on now. That is ridiculous. If Sanchez isn't in the top 40-50 that puts Tebow outside the top 100.

Brady is 35 and in year 14. I know he still looks amazing, but it's not out of the realm that he only has a couple left.

Tebow has trouble with the same barn AND gets the ball off about half a second more slowly.

Oh, I agree that Tebow can't hit the same barn. At least he can move a little though. You have to have something going for you.

Well, if Brady stays healthy, he wants to play for another five years, which I think it a fantasy, but it's already been two years.

Not sure how long Mallett wants to stay on the sidelines, honestly.
