So each of these would probably have us losing at least 3 games,... right??

I think that's gotta be right. If we only lose 2 we will be in the upper crust and one loss should = playoffs?!?!? Playoffs?!?!?!

Imagine a full month of our beaver friend in lead up to the game. Would be entertaining as hell
The Pac 2 ( soon to be) will be a gauntlet. He will be cheering for a MWC team, his ego maybe checked.

Wasn’t it Capital One that started this shit, when they completely took over the Citrus Bowl name? There were a few like Blockbuster, etc. in the 90’s but then it went back to normal names.

Feel like before that, it was just a tag along (I.E Nokia Sugar Bowl, not just Nokia Bowl)

We aren’t that far removed from playing in a bowl that was sponsored by Battle Toads.

I don't know why coaches would put up with the Dukes Mayo Bowl.

What kind of a man would allow themselves to be absolutely DENIGRATED like that on national TV.

I understand accepting the bowl berth because it could be huge for your team. I even understand agreeing to the consequences. But I would have my fingers Firmly crossed behind my back.

The first coach to tell them to GTFO out with that mess after the game would be a hero. There would be absolutely zero pushback.

Alright bowl fans, we have more data in now and the projections are getting rosier, not quite to the playoff but.....

CBS loves breakfast snacks
Jerry Palm says slapppp a pop tart in the toaster.
ND vs. OK St in a rematch in Orlando on DEC 28th.

College Football News loves the holidays
CFN wants Notre Dame to get some extra time in California at the Holiday Bowl.
ND vs. Washington in San Diego on DEC 27th.

The ESPN.com loves....the Irish?
An ESPN.com Insider article has not one but TWO prognosticators guessing the Irish join the New Years Six. It's like believing in aliens AND big foot!!!!
Friday, Dec. 29
Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas)
8 p.m., ESPN and the ESPN App

Schlabach: Notre Dame vs. Penn State (Posters note: Fun!)

Capital One Orange Bowl
Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens, Florida)

For those first two we’d still have to lose 3-4 games I’d think

I'd love a universe where ND plays Oregon in a NY6. I'd never live it down if we lost, but I really think ND would curb stomp em. It's really weird how closely both programs track (obviously not with NIL for high school kids) but in a number of other ways, they feel linked.

Defensive coach who's in his first couple years an HC. Big time transfer QB. Their OC got a lot of shit.

Recently lost their HC for and think he's a traitor now.

Huge expectations from their fan base that never pans out.

Suspect if we're not in the playoffs Hartman sits it out
Depending on the bowel, I doubt he would. He isn't viewed yet as top 2 day pick yet. He is going to need as much exposure as possible. I also dont see him as the type that would sit.
