Boise State is a smart program. They play games during the week and get national television coverage. They play in a weak conference but manage to schedule a tough game at the start of the season. Remember, they destroyed Oregon last year. They also play Oregon State this year. They beat VT last night in a "neutral site" game held right next door to VT. This team is for real. It is a program right now. Teams won't schedule them and we know why. People can keep this debate of their schedule weakness, it's easy to get up for 2 games a year, blah blah blah, but the truth is that Boise State is f-ing good. They are coached at a superior level with players who were low level recruits. If they played in the SEC, with Petersen as coach, they would get SEC level talent. (If you want to play hypotheticals, we can go all day.) At the end of the discussion, Boise does one thing: win.
