The insider forums have been loaded w/ discussions about how he made his UF decision during the UA AA week after spending time with no one but Gators commits.

A few things:

If BK is really trying to hard bargain negotiate with ND, then there is no reason for him to put out any statement to cool things down. That would nullify his hard bargaining position. If he really wants to go to the NFL, then the timing is not a concern of his. If he wants to go NFL, which I kind of believe more and more, then okay. His stock is high right now and who knows if it will be this high again. (I would hope it'd be but who knows?) My only wish was that if he's trying to get a better deal that he could have done it another way. But I guess the timing for that is bad all around due to NCG being Monday and NFL teams looking now etc. Chip Kelly had the benefit of being in a lesser / earlier bowl.

To me, that either means that A) he doesn't think it's a big deal, which IMO it is, or B) he's really considering the Eagles and doesn't want to say something he'll regret if he chooses to leave ND. ND Rivals was suggesting that BK is using this as not only leverage for himself but for his assistants. That's huge. Gives guys like Alford, Diaco, Martin, etc stronger job security and a less likely reason to bolt.
