I agree with your assessment of QB play but this sort of sh*t is unnecessary. TR has done his best, which is the best we had according to a coach that has forgotten more about football than this entire board knows.

I wish TR all the luck in the world, however for me the writing was on the wall after the win at USC. The other problem I see here and don’t hear much about is EG has four years of eligibility left so if TR does work his way back into the starting job its very likely keil and Hendrix will transfer and we are right back to where we started.

Could not agree more. I will never understand a Notre Dame fan who belittles its own players. I like to think it's people on the bandwagon and not those directly associated with the University, but I'm likely wrong. It's not about making excuses for the mistakes our athletes make on and off the field. It's about respecting the fact that these kids are maturing on a stage that is far more public than most. It's a process and not an instantaneous thing. What does it accomplish to degrade our own players besides reflect a warped alignment with our rivals? We already have USC, Michigan, etc. to talk trash, and put down our team and University.

Isn't it a basic principle of loyalty to not cast stones at those in your own family?

In 9 games rather he started or not in the 10 season TR stats were less than desirable and sent red flags up for me is all im saying. Not predicting the future just calling them like I see them.

and btw i dont see 8td's against 4 ints in a three game span as a good thing.
