In 9 games rather he started or not in the 10 season TR stats were less than desirable and sent red flags up for me is all im saying. Not predicting the future just calling them like I see them.

and btw i dont see 8td's against 4 ints in a three game span as a good thing.

someone get this guy some glasses

Glasses? I think Rees is barely a MAC-level athlete.

He was a true frosh and barely played until Tulsa. To judge anything before that is absurd. And during Tulsa he played very well, and against Utah threw three TDs, and then against Army played well. 8 TDs and 4ints in three games would be 24tds and 12ints in a season. That'd be GREAT for a true frosh.

Agreed 24 and 12 is absolutely great for a frosh. With that being said he just isn't the quarterback ND needs at the moment

But you are only counting three games and the facts are that in 9 games he threw 12 td’s vs. 8 ints and don’t get me wrong still not bad numbers for a true frosh. The problem was the ints came in bunches not spread out. Let’ not forget all the receiving talent TR had to work with and still was unsuccessful.

I heard it on the way to work this morning, overall good interview. I know Golic is an alum but does anyone else not like him? Something about the guy just grinds my gears.

I agree with your assessment of QB play but this sort of sh*t is unnecessary. TR has done his best, which is the best we had according to a coach that has forgotten more about football than this entire board knows.

Props for that; TR did his best and probably be a good coach some day.

I could care less too if Tommy stays. What is wrong with saying that??? I guarantee a majority of this board feels the same way. Kid cant play at this level and it is obvious. Let him go somewhere if he can. I would welcome the scholly. Sorry this is about winning.
BS, I doubt the majority of this board feel that way.

I agree with ndfi78. You cannot fault Tommy Rees. The kid was recruited to come play at Notre Dame, and he accepted. He has played his best, and I think very highly of the kid in everything he has done outside of his actions this off season. I also highly doubt the majority of the board feels that Tommy can take a hike.

This is not about winning, this is about honoring a commitment to a Notre Dame man and seeing it through to graduation. We have more class than most, but sometimes it doesn't show.
