Yea a Twitter employee was compromised for a few thousand dollars and the hacker basically had access to the back end of twitter and could post on anyone’s behalf.. they always ask for bitcoin maybe thinking it can’t be tracked but it can by transactions on the chain.. and the problem happens when they try to cash to USD or some other currency they only have KYC options and get caught that way.

He should have taken massive short position on leverage and then tweeted something about the SEC banning Bitcoin making the purchase of it illegal etc.. would have made a ton and exited without anyone having a clue lol But the guy was an idiot..

Pretty wild

Said honestly and in the way anyone could short the system and get Very rich... the type that blows the mind of the rich.

I know ya know. Good for you!

What I and millions of others world wide want to know is will Libra coin ever come to fruition? Your thoughts Wildman?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yea this ones interesting.. it looks like they’ll launch a neutered version of it. So instead of it being a “global” multi currency solution to transfers, payments, remittances etc it’ll just be another money service like PayPal but backed by one currency at a time.. so not able to seamlessly move from one country (currency) to another.

Tying that in with Chainlink.. they would be working with Libra as their decentralized Oracle solution.. its not as complex of a role as it would be with a global currency needing value feeds of all the global currencies but it still backs up the legitimacy of Chainlink.

Turned out it was a 17 y/o kid out of FL. Sounds like he was a huge gamer and had become a good hacker who was running a scam of selling Twitter handles. Also, he loves Bitcoin so he snagged the Twitter handles of blue checks like POTUS Obama, Elon Musk, Joe Biden & tweeted out offers to double anyone’s Bitcoin who sent in $2K worth.

Got over $13 briefly today. Currently at about $12.45.

I’m going to get on this chain train tomorrow. Hopefully I’m not to late and it has a few more bull runs left in it.

Shes a beaut. In all honesty I think it’s just taking its rightful #3 spot behind Ethereum as far as market cap goes... that would be around $33 today.

It performed +5300% in a bear market so I’m excited to see where we go in a bull. They’re involved in so many vital aspects of blockchain so I think there’s bigger players moving in at this point.

The volume defends that theory as it has significantly jumped recently.

I’m buying any and all dips

Need help here. I have been trying to buy chainlink since it was about $6.35 and I see its now up over $19 today and I still havent been able to buy anything. I registered an account on coinbase, verified my ID/account, have added two bank accounts and tried a wire transfer and it just will not allow me to buy. I had my wife register an account and add different bank accounts and it will not allow here either. When we go to buy, we enter our buy amount and the next screen where it says "preview buy" we click that and it wants us to add a payment method again even though we have multiple verified payment accounts linked. When we try a wire transfer from our bank, it tells me it cannot identify a USD account to initiate from.

Is says buying is disabled on our accounts. I emailed Coinbase support weeks ago and received the below canned response back..and in the meantime I have heard nothing else while I have been sitting here watching potential earnings lost day after day. They do not have a phone support line except for compromised accounts. PLEASE HELP, any insight on what I can do is greatly appreciated.

After taking a look at your account, we see that you're not eligible to purchase cryptocurrency or deposit fiat (USD, GBP, EUR) using your linked payment methods. You may also have difficulty linking a new payment method.

We realize this is an inconvenience, so we've bumped this account review to a team of specialists who will determine account eligibility (the review can take up to 10-14 days).

There are a number of factors that affect purchase and deposit eligibility, and we’re not able to provide specific details regarding our security processes or account reviews.

I signed up for Coinbase a few days ago; I was able to link my checking account and I also linked my debit card as a second option with no issues. I was then able to purchase chainlink a few minutes later with no issues at all.

You mind me asking what bank you use? And what was the process on Coinbase you used to link your bank accounts?

My bank is Chase. So when linking in Coinbase I selected Chase from the list of banks provided; then I put in my chase online username and password. When you registered your bank did you go through the same process I did? Or was yours a more manual entry where you had to type in your bank routing number and account number?

From the message you received it seems Coinbase is having difficulty confirming who you are lol.

You are performing your transactions in the U.S. correct? I’m just curious but what state?

In the mean time have you tried to register and buy on a different exchange? For example Gemini or Kraken or Binance (if Binance is available in your state)? You may want to try another exchange instead of having all this time go by waiting for Coinbase to work.

Thank you. I was unaware of Gemini but I was able to get set up on there...a good amount of potential earnings lost later! I had linked both Ally and Bank of America banks. My wide had linked BBVA. For my Ally account I had to do the manual setup of the account, but the BBVA and BoA process was just like you described above. We are in Texas...no clue what is going on but kinda pissed about it. Thank you again, heres to hoping LINK is still on the way up with much more to go before it hits its ceiling.

Anybody know anything about staking rewards? Is that just an easy way for crap crypto to get people to buy? Or is it worthwhile?

So it just depends on what you’re staking and where. Like XTZ (TEZOS) can be staked on Coinbase and very easily provides another stream of income as you support the network. Tezos actually looks like it should make a move upwards soon..

Other coins off Coinbase have staking in their wallets like TOMO and through liquidity pools which are essentially nodes that you give your tokens to and they use as collateral and pay you part of their rewards.

If you’re new to crypto I suggest waiting for Chainlinks staking announcement and participating in that.. it’s likely to be announced within the next month or two and Coinbase will probably have a simple on-ramp.

Otherwise Tezos isn’t a bad option for now. They are essentially a competitor to Ethereum just behind development wise..

All staking options have different rewards etc so read up on them before you choose one.

I’m actually into Yield Farming right now which is absolutely insane part of “decentralized finance”..

I wouldn’t recommend looking at that until you’re comfortable with moving coins around, understanding stablecoins, liquidity providing etc

As far as Chainlink goes its sitting on support at $16 but there’s a huge smart contract conference they’re hosting on the 29th.. I expect some crazy price action before then.. it could go to $12 and still be in a bullish channel.. even $9. But it could also push upwards. I don’t really gamble with it.. I just buy the same amount each week so I’m exposed to all the action.

Good luck!

Do you ever see another crazy bull market / run of volatility like we saw in late 2017 or do you feel that was a unicorn event? Just trying to understand what causes these massive swings.

2017 was so wild because literally everything was rising with the tide.. even the most inane, useless tokens we’re giving 100x returns. A big part of the money injection was the ICO boom..

That’s what seems to be going on now with DeFi.. it’s causing everything to whip up again with huge returns and it’s spilling over into the mid/large caps now.

I don’t see everything rising again but I’m cautiously optimistic that we’re entering another crypto bull run now.. but obviously globally it doesn’t make sense that all this money is going to enter still such an immature market... but hell, Tesla is over $2k and the markets been irrational for a while now lol..

I still think Chainlink will be one of the biggest winners bc it’s actually being integrated into real world applications and frankly every blockchain needs an oracle provider..

But if you take a look at the crypto market now there are coins giving huge returns right now.. OMG just ran 120% ZRX is up 80% today BAT 25%.. it would be nice to see it all keep going .

Is OMG getting artificially propped up because of the Tether announcement? I can't tell if I should throw some money on it and pull it out in two days or just stay out of it?

I did some more research on BAT after you mentioned it. It's a really interesting concept to better align internet advertising incentives. Definitely something I support and want to succeed.

Chainlink is plummeting at the moment. Any particular reason why Wildman? Or is this just correction phase and we will be pushing $20 again in the near future?

Personally, I'm not a fan of buying in at a record high, and no one (not wildman, not anyone else) can predict where a speculative asset it going or it wouldn't be a speculative asset.

The "plummet" is to a price that is still more than double what it was a month ago... and 8x higher than when it was first brought up and I bought in.

I don't plan on putting any more money into Chainlink unless it comes way down off its current peak. As is, just letting my initial money ride.

...but wasn't it at a record high when you bought it? ;)

I'm taking a speculative approach to crpyto similar to what you described earlier in the thread. I don't think these assets are necessarily priced efficiently, so I don't think entry point matters quite as much. Just buying in for the diversification and volatility and enjoying the ride.

Side note, our buddies over at wallstreetbets have made millions the past few months buying $TSLA at ATH.

Chainlink looking like it retested $13 and bounced pretty hard... actually Dave PORTNOY from Barstool capitulated almost right there lol.. it could be a dead cat and retest $9 but IMO and like LAX said it’s a prediction at best, I think we ramp up to $20 again as the Smart Conference gets closer even if we do retest $9.

I’m currently utilizing a lot of my link in DeFi right now so I’m not selling and I believe we’re at the beginning of a larger move.. but again I could be wrong.

Yea BAT is cool and you can earn it just by using the Brave browser which is really awesome to use anyway.

If anyone has ever traded on Uniswap -- they just released their own token and are doing air drops to past Uniswap users. Minimum you'll receive is 400 UNI which is about $1200 in current market.

Literally free money.
