How is it not appropriate? It’s a genuine question with this guy.

It wasn't a question, it was a statement and it's intent was malicious, and disrespectful. Not appropriate in the White House I don't care who is President.

Again, I despise this administration very much, and I thought it was funny and probably true, but it was inappropriate.

He’ll still beat trump, unfortunately.

They’ve loaded the deck. Tons of those illegal immigrants will get a vote. And the ballot stuffers like Wanda…. Between the two, Dems will make it happen.

New York Magazine, a very left leaning publication, published an article this week titled The Conspiracy of Silence to Protect Joe Biden. It details the efforts over the past year or so by the press and those around Biden to hide what we all now know and what they clearly knew for months about Biden's rapidly deteriorating mental status. They hid this from the American public in order to stay in power, not caring that Biden's diminished abilities were dangerous for the country. The press, that bastion of truth and the shield of democracy, lied like dogs to us in order to protect one side.

The term "sundowning" refers to a state of confusion that occurs in the late afternoon and lasts into the night. Sundowning can cause various behaviors, such as confusion, anxiety, aggression or ignoring directions. Sundowning also can lead to pacing or wandering.

No doubt Biden is sundowning. He'll have his moments where he's coherent and those where he's struggling. The struggling moments far outpace the coherent moments and there's no coming back from that.
Makes sense that they recently said no more official events after 8pm. Easier to limit bad showings.

40 years. Imagine failing for a promotion and getting it 40...Years...Later. That's wild. You could be a young 25 year old guy still fresh out of college, trying to get a top tier position, and end up failing to get it until you're 65. That's the age most people are retiring/retired.

[EDIT] Oh yeah, and that job you wanted 40 years ago? It first went to the guy that hosted Celebrity Apprentice and he never even worked in your field prior to that.

The only problem with this is Father Time. You can say and do all you want, but Father Time is still undefeated.

Biden pledges to beat Trump and go on attack at next debate in donor call

From Kayla Tausche, Jeff Zeleny and DJ Judd
President Joe Biden told top donors Monday that he is not exiting the race and that he believes he’s still the best candidate to beat Donald Trump, according to three participants on a donor call.
During the Q&A portion of the call, Biden fielded a question from a donor about what he needs to do in the second debate – scheduled for September 10 – to perform better than the first.
Biden outlined the strategy simply, two participants said: “Attack, attack, attack.”
“My one job is to beat Donald Trump,” Biden said, according to one of the call participants, who said the president thanked donors and renewed his pledge to keep the fight alive.
Another participant on the call, who has been critical of Biden over the past week, praised the president’s words Monday and said the campaign seemed to “finally” grasp the seriousness of the moment.
The ultimate test, this donor said, would be whether congressional leaders urge Biden to reconsider his bid this week – and whether the president’s support eroded in campaign polling following the holiday weekend.
“It’s still a huge hole to climb out of,” the Democratic donor said, speaking on condition of anonymity to avoid alienating the campaign. “It was already a steep hill to climb to victory.”

DNC Finance Chair Chris Korge, who was among the final speakers on the call, was “begging us to stay in line,” one of the participants said.
Another participant said of the president’s determination to continue running: “He ain’t budging an inch.”
The call began roughly 40 minutes behind schedule as the campaign processed a last-minute rush of RSVPs due to the late announcement of Biden’s participation. More than 300 members of the campaign’s National Finance Committee dialed into the Zoom call, a participant told CNN.

It sounds like the WH press room has reached a breaking point. They are pissed at the bullshit that has been fed to them via KJP. The latest back and forth about the Parkinson's Dr. is entertaining to say the least.

I think his priority shouldn't be beating Donald Trump. I think his priority should be bringing solutions to make the country a better place. I think we saw enough in the first debate with both guys going after the other, not enough policy talk.
This is so true. The issue with Biden's mental decline isn't "beating Donald trump" it's that he "can't do the job of POTUS"... people are inverting cause + effect. Him losing to Trump in a landslide will be because people see him incapable of leading the country.

And I didn't think anyone could be worse than her predecessor.

Lecture on respecting each other is how you know the questions are hitting home. Relentless from piles of reporters - you would think they would go to the Fox guy so they could demean the question.

I actually was impressed with her predecessor. She could spin the lies so easily and believably.

KJP is pretty bad. The constant reliance on her tabbed binder. Always looking through the binder while a reporter asks a question. Very little eye contact.

Psaki could probably sell ice to an Eskimo. KJP could try to sell water to a man dying of thirst and the guy on the verge of death would probably be second guessing himself if he should make the purchase.

Psaki was very good at answering without answering, but at least she answered. KLP doesn't even answer most of the time. The binder and not looking at the reporter gives off some "I don't have time for this nonsense" vibe.

Allegedly a Parkinson’s specialist visited the White House a half dozen times this year… could be something, could be nothing, but I'm sure they'll issue an explanation at some point.

I don’t think he’d lose in a landslide. The major cities will still vote for him in droves b/c he’s not Trump. They’ll justify it by saying “well whoever was pulling the levers for Biden these past four years hasn’t been that bad & he’s still not orange Hitler”. It’s the inverse of the Lefties talking points on these threads who love to mock those who are right of center but won’t vote Trump. They’re the same…they will or would still vote Biden.
