Some breakdown of the spending that is being rammed through in this 4,100+ page omnibus bill that was dropped yesterday morning. They're trying to begin debate on it already. There's a whole thread with earmarks and provisions, but here are a bunch of them:
CBP funding can't be used to improve border security, but over $400 million goes to security for Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, and Oman.
$65 million for salmon population improvement? Another $65 million for international fisheries commissions.
$575 million for "family planning" in areas where population growth "threatens biodiversity." WTF.
$65 million for two programs under Senator Leahy and to have a federal building in San Francisco named after Nancy Pelosi.
A highway project for $3.6 million to be named the "Michelle Obama Trail."
Another $47 billion to Ukraine in addition to creating a Ukraine Independence Park in DC...wtf?
$524 million for minority health and health disparities research.
$200 million for gender programs in Pakistan and the Gender Equity Fund.
$7.5 million to better understand the "domestic radicalization phenomenon."
$26 million to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in the House.
$286 million in Title X funding, which funds Planned Parenthood.
Significant increases to the FBI, ATF, and US Attorneys with emphasis on J6 prosecutions and domestic terrorism.
There's a lot more in the thread.

"The omnibus was released around 2am today. The Senate is voting now to begin debate on the bill. To have read the entire bill by now, you would've needed to read 4+ pages per minute, without a single break, for 16 hours straight."

It’s a stutter.

Gender science in Pakistan and protecting borders abroad, but not our own. It’s a huge joke.

I’m sure we’re throwing more cash at the climate cartel too.

Freedom of speech.

I’m sure there’s a perfectly good reason for this. It surely isn’t Biden covering up a failure.

I can't believe you'd even suggest such a thing. Everybody knows the border crisis is largely an illusion and misinformation sown by white supremacists and racists. The real culprit here is those damned Border Patrol agents lying on folks and talking about everything. You just take a deep breath and relax, bro. Joe's got this.

Our friends from the left side made no bones about Orange man taking off for Florida all the time or his carefree attitude for the environment, yet it's two days since my post and nothing?

That's environmentalism in a nutshell. No different than the extreme covid policies. It's for the little people. Celebs will talk about climate change, then run to a yacht or a jet and think nothing of it. They think they are better than you.

Biden still hasn't had the time to get to the border, but 250+ days of vacation and counting. That's the joy of being on the left- nobody will scrutinize you.

The difference is - Trump didn't pander to climate alarmists and Biden did. It's like criticizing someone for grilling a burger at home who is not a vegetarian while ignoring a vegan eating a live rat on stage.

Why no reporters asking Epstein Qs while Biden is within sight of Epstein Island? Pedo Pete probably even visited the old stomping grounds and doesn't remember why it isn't hopping like it use to.

Joe left himself open for more criticism with his pit stop on the way to Mexico. I saw on the news how one guy was conveinently arrested right in front of a reporter while he was reporting. Evidently the guy was standing with several hundred others doing nothing when he was picked out of the crowd.

Still waiting for the pics of classified docs on the floor and hysteria.

Is Biden refusing to return them? Did he keep them because he feels they belong to him and not the United States government? Did he have his lawyers falsely tell law enforcement that he returned all the docs and there are no more? Did he accuse his lawyers of planting the docs?

I am positive that this will not resonate with you because you don't care, but when it comes to classified docs, intent drives the legal consequences.

Ah, so it's pretending what Trump did and what Biden did are equal. So the reaction should be the same then...

....well, to go back to your first comment, there are no photos of documents strewn about because the FBI didn't have to go and get the docs back.

Since the FBI didn't have to execute a search warrant to get the documents back from Biden, no media hysteria.

Both were required by law to relinquish control of the documents. Neither did. We don't know what they were of who had access to them. We don't know if Hunter made money on the deal. The facts now are what the WH released. The irony is in his comments aimed at Trump for this and the willingness to dismiss it when its a democrat. Even if it is a whole bunch of classified docs on a server…

Any non-politician would be facing jail time for holding SCI documents without proper storage.

The rules are different when you are a politician though. And that really grinds my gears.
