I make a decent living, but believe me, that stings the pocket book. It wasn't that long ago $200 would get you two full carts.

Inflation in food is like 10% from a year ago so the same cart would have been roughly what $194? Inflation sucks and all but we don't have to old man river it and act like after you finished shopping you went watching a ten cent talkie down at the drive in while the youngins played with a stick and a hoop round back, WITH NO ONE WATCHING THEM!!!

It really depends on which food items you purchase…….some of the items are up a lot more than 10% (i.e. 40%). This is the first time in my lifetime where the prices on the grocery shelves seem to go up at least once a month. For example, a 4 lb. bag of frozen berries was $9.99 for a few years and now within a year(ish), it’s now $14.99. This is Costco. Some items haven’t increased as much so it just depends which items you usually purchase.

I only buy food items that haven't changed, and I didn't buy a new home, or a new vehicle, and I walk to work, so all this inflation talk sounds like a bunch of hooey to me!

Absolutely, ever since the library got the fancy, I believe they call it "American Online", as long as nobody makes a phone call and I'm very patient I can learn loads of stuff! What will they think of next?!?!?!

The price of guitars has gone up almost 20% in the past 18 months. Fender and Gibson have both had multiple price increases in that time. Lots of models are hard to find, which means they laugh at you when you want to negotiate price. I'm tired of all the bitching about gas and groceries. Get your priorities straight! My struggle is real.

Tampons are going to be the next shortage. Just like formula.
The women on the left are already blaming men on twitter. This administration just keeps getting better.

So basically you only buy water?

I'm not sure how the average citizen is able to afford a new home. The cost of homes in the subdivisio0ns going up around us is $375K - $450K.

Maybe 10% over all food products, but certain items like beef have skyrocketed in the last year and a half. It's definitely felt, especially in the lower income brackets.

That's right, Aquaman in the house!

I don't know how they do it either, but the good news is lumber prices have collapsed quite a bit. Get a few more inputs on the downward slide and baby you got a stew going.

Fundamental transformation of this country. Started with Obama's proclamation in 2008 and this is the third term of it.

Rising inflation
Insane gas prices
Low labor participation rate
Economy shrank in Q1
Border being invaded and administration welcoming the chaos
Crime rates skyrocketing
Begging other nations for oil and baby formula

Absolutely embarrassing and 100% by design.

Of course they’re going down. Right after I buy 5 pieces of door casing and 20ft of baseboard for $150. Two years ago I paid $60. Back when I played stickball under the street lights that would have cost $5.

Clearly, things are going well-

He wasn't even a popular choice during the primaries, having to surge late after some candidates finally conceded and other events transpired, like Hillary creating false Russian plant accusations against Tulsi. Seriously, what is with her and Russian accusations? Will they back him for re-election? I feel like they'll have to, because Kamala was even less likable. Maybe Hillary IS going to make a comeback and that's why she's been active on social media again? Unless Biden's presidency changes course soon I can't see how he legitimately wins again unless the Republican candidate is a charisma-less robot.

If we knew everything was on the up and up, and given the negative situations that have followed Biden over the last year, I feel like Trump would beat him the 2nd time. That said I'd prefer a Desantis or other candidate. Tulsi just needs to make the switch, she'd have my vote.
