I'm down with nuclear, but the smaller the better for starters and it needs to be regulated with actual oversight. Forgive me if I don't trust the grifting ghoulish assholes as far as I can throw them.

The waste would have to be dealt with also.

Gets a very bad rap. Nuclear power is less popular than taxes.

Your first paragraph PERFECTLY sums up why I can no longer vote ‘party of big all seeing government’

We're not talking about lemonade stands here. There is a reason why people are hesitant. Still, it is an option we should explore if done right. I'll hold my breath with hope.

Again, less popular than taxes. In America.

Surely, public safety will be of the utmost importance.

I'm sure the most corrupt Father-Son pardon ever is coming. Anyways, Don't fuck with a Biden!

There will be no pardon, because there will be no charges or trial. Besides, this is just the right wanting their justice after the left impeached orange man.

This is unbelievable. We're going to have 6,500 more drug dealers running amok.

That's not the point. The point is we're going to have 6,500 more people and their appreciative families who'll vote for the party who released them to run amok.

Biden’s pardon of Federal marijuana charges will result in almost nobody in Federal prison based solely on a possession charge. Of the referenced 6,500 people, almost all of them have already served their time or are in prison for other items.

Biden’s pardon is mostly symbolic and he’s hoping State’s will follow where there would likely be a much larger impact.

Tell me you know absolutely nothing about nuclear power without just admitting you know nothing about nuclear power.

Nuclear is regulated closer than anything else in this country. A lot of it was tacking on regulations bit by bit over the years from legislators who didn't want it to succeed. Vermont D's ran it out. Massachusetts D's ran it out. Cuomo in NY ran one out while bailing out the ones in Western NY who were hammered by the same regulations. California was heavily anti-nuke until like a year ago.

The NRC has resident monitors on site every day. Companies have full transparency and an insane list of rules to follow compared to any other form of power generation. Nuclear also has a safety record that is remarkable. Nuclear Navy has operated safely for almost 70 years. Commercial nuclear gets safety and precaution.

Nuclear has a bad rep because people are completely ignorant of it. I'd live by one (again). Waste is also a very manageable issue, but it requires political will. Yucca would have worked except for Harry Reid.

Keep it that way, then. All I'm saying.

I live about 1.5 miles from a nuclear facility. I never give it a second thought.

I can’t keep up with everyone… Ohio is living in N Carolina, N Dakota is living in New York and Toronto is living in the States. I demand transparency.
LOL - OH hopes to be living in OH again soon...
