So I've decided to try to one up Gibby and Nanker.

I'm going to use this space for random chit chat and my thoughts.

Everyone else, feel free to post whatever.

Ok, so my first post is going to be about how for the short time being (hopefully) I won't be posting quite as frequently if at all. My bloody laptop has a wicked virus so at the moment I'm using a crappy computer in my flower shop...yes, I have a flower shop.

Anyways, I hope to get it fixed and be posting like normal asap.

A flower shop? That's actually pretty cool in my estimation. I see you're in Indiana. Northern or Southern? Maybe I'll start buying all those flowers I purchase for my wife (to try to keep my *** out of trouble) from you.

He had to have graduated from Indiana State's younger, uglier stepchild: Balls Tate University.

His haiku thread (which I am sad disappeared off the main page) shows he is not currently enrolled in a Muncie High School. A haiku there is as foreign as the cars that Terrelle Pryor likes to drive.

Easy chief.

Second, you can still find his haiku thread by clicking "Forums" up top and then proceeding to the Leprechaun Lounge.

Matter of fact here's another feminine side of me. I actually have a hummingbird garden. A garden that attracts Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. They are the coolest little creatures and I photograph them as well. Just sayin.

Hold me. I'm sensitive.

And if a particular other species of hummingbird wants to consume from your garden, what then, gaybo?

My bloody laptop has a wicked virus so at the moment I'm using a crappy computer in my flower shop...yes, I have a flower shop.

I think what you meant to say (write), is that your DADDY owns a flower shop. But I'm certain your DADDY lets your MOMMY run the dad-gum thing, so as to cover up any possible female-like characteristics he may have attained in the acquisition process of the "flower shop."

Gaybo.

Yup.

Both of you's is gaybos. (In most hardcore New York accent as is possible)

Why do you assume gardening is feminine??? I've never gardened in my life! My favorite flower is a daisy. I hate roses. Gardening takes away from my golf game.

Gardening is for girls. Johnny's much too busy washing dishes and doing laundry.

I didn't actually assume you liked anything feminine.

Methinks Johnnygayboi doth protest too much! Deflection and misdirection run rampant.

Not that I have any real problem with "that." Just admit to your love for flowers, hummingbirds and Unicorns and your life will be so much brighter.

The truth shall set you free!

.

I'm just saying that it's not fair to say he's a gaybo for gardening....and pointing out that I am a female, who is straight, and does act feminine at times, and I do not garden. Therefore the statement was false. Gardening is not feminine. :) And in reality, he's kinda up the creek as far as a gf is concerned because now he actually has to be CREATIVE when he decides to be romantic because the throwback to flowers isn't gonna cut it. Ya digg? Poor thing will get suckered into buying glittery shyt from Tiffany's.

You sure that's not "Hey, sailor" rather than "Nay?"

Heck-fire, I'm now feeling free to post photos of my Catalpa* tree in bloom, my Clematis in their glory, my Star Gazer lilies smiling and my Phlox pimpin'.

The Daffodils, Tulips, Siberian Squill, Siberian Iris and other early bloomer pics will have to wait till next year.

Fleurz Roulez!

  1. *The Catalpa is late. It usually blooms June 10th. I hope it's not preggers at 85.

Hell! You might as well.

Now we've opened up this thread to include any sensitivity(s) accrued.

(Just give a hippy (hippie?) a reason to go gay, and they're on it like a hookah.)

I prefer "hippie." Never met a hookah to this day. [Monsieur Zig-Zag, briar pipes (with appropriate mesh screens) and intriguing make-shift bongs – yes]. Never moved to a commune. Never liked the smell of patchouli.

I did, however, come to appreciate gardening through both my father and my mother. He was a product of Manhattan, she of Wisconsin. I have hazy, fond memories of my father buying and planting a pear, an apple and a cherry tree in our Long Island backyard. He put in a tiered strawberry garden. She coaxed "crops" of spring blooming bulbs and flowering plants, both perennial and annual.

Then there were the tomatoes my father tried to grow year in and year out once we moved to Florida. Not nearly a cost effective expense-to yield metric. Tulips don't like Central Florida.

In his way, my father was playing out ND's experience in recent decades. My mother, too. He: acquire talent. She: remember past gardens.

Without proper soil and climate certain seedlings won't prosper. I'll cut to the allegorical chase: choose the correct plants for your climate, cultivate them properly and you're bound to reap a colorful and bountiful harvest.

What were we talking about?

Oh, yeah. Fireside chats. I was just oxidizing, in my chiminea, some of the twigs and branches that collect in my yard over the winter. The rest is simply what it is.

Gezzy Pete...OK, time to clarify some things.

I just graduated from Muncie Central High School actually. And don't bag on BSU. I'm about to go there. :p It's actually improved DRAMATICALLY.

As for the flower shop. It's Normandy Flower Shop Inc. located in Muncie, Indiana (that's east central Indiana, Nanker). It's owned just by my mom. My dad passed away earlier this year.

Anyways, I'd love you're guys business. lol

And my laptop still has a freakin' virus. So...grr.
