Do you believe ND would get destroyed in a NC game?

I honestly think ND's best matchup would be Bama. I know Oregon hasn't faced an actual defense yet, but all that speed still frightens me. Whereas ND is built to stop power offenses, and that's what Bama is.

Eh, depends on the week.

And that right there is what the rankings SHOULD be...maybe swap Oregon and KSU.

Ultimately, while BCS bowls are nice, we play for national championships. They won't put up a new banner in Notre Dame Stadium for winning the Fiesta Bowl

Yep.

By the way, does anyone know the updated odds of all four going undefeated?

I just can't see it being 7%... That is outrageous. All 4 teams will be favored in every game. I know Any Given saturday and all that crap, but seriously, 7%?

Alabama could lose to A&M, they also could lose to Georgia in the SEC Championship game. Oregon does have a couple of possibly tough games. Stanford and Oregon State, then the Pac 12 championship Game. Well who knows strange things have happened in the final 3 weeks before. If we can take care of business we will just have to let the chips fall where they may.

Whole lot of defeatist attitudes up in dis hizzy....

May as well cancel the rest of the season and play with your french kissing sock puppets until next year because WE just can't get it done.... So lame.

Stay the f^ck out of my foxhole...

They can cancel the rest of the season....?? We'd technically finish undefeated right? How do we make this happen....?

Also, why would you want to live in a fox hole?? Most of us have pretty nice houses....

Wait,...

Huh?

Wouldn't it be unprecedented for the top 4 to remain undefeated? Not saying it is impossible, but unlikely.

Unless we run the table it doesn't matter anyways.

Collin Klein being out would help big time. Yeah, feel bad for him and don't wish injuries and all that crap, but he REALLY needs to not play.

KSU will lose to TCU this weekend. Oregon will lose to Oregon State. Bama will lose in the SEC championship. ND will win out with a win at USC on a last minute pick 6 by Manti Teo solidifying his Heisman hopes.

Seriously though, we can't control anything else but winning each and every game. Finish 12-0 and let the chips fall where they may.

That Aggie offense is for real. Solid O-Line with some future NFL talent, stellar young qb, and a good play caller from the days of Mike Leach. The defense has a top 10 draft pick who is a sack machine. They are improving more every week than any other team in the country IMHO.

This could be the toughest game left for Bama in the regular season.

Ohh yeah, did you see those classy athletes from Bama?

I think the problem with playing Bama is that we know our offense is limited. Against a defense like Alabama's, ND might only have 15:00 of Time of Possession, for the WHOLE game. Then the question becomes can our defense hold down a very good offense for 45:00?

That's my big concern with Alabama, anyway....

If saying, "Suck it" makes you a gangbanger, I wonder if I am a Black Disciple or maybe a Crip?
Their whole sideline demeanor after that touchdown was thuggish. It went far beyond just saying "suck it." And then their QB was bawling like a baby it was all just weird.

You do realize that LSU -- Ell Ess freaking You -- put 450 yards of offense on Bama, right?

If they had to play more teams that can brawl SEC style, like Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, then they would lose a game. Their schedule is Brawny soft.

And Pitt just took us to 3 overtimes. 4-5 Pitt! Is that all the better we are, or was that a game where we just didn't play well?
