Best case = 12-1 with a win over a good team on NYD
Worst case = 11-2 with a loss to the Irish on NYD.
How do you go 12-1 or 11-2 without a QB?
Oops. Meant to respond to Michigan State.

Yeah, we had a coach once that was a QB guru. He was big and talked his way into a bigger contract that we're still paying. He didn't do a great job with the OL though, and some years those great QBs were running for their lives. Michigan certainly needs some help on the OL too.
are you seriously comparing Charlie Weis - a guy who had never been a head coach in his career and whose entire resume and claim to fame is that he knows Bill Belichik, Tom Brady, and Bill Parcels - to Harbaugh?
Seems like an asinine comparison to make, considering Harbaugh was an All-American, Heisman finalist as a QB in college and 1st round NFL draft pick that played 14 years in the NFL and has prior head coaching experience. Very good prior head coaching experience I might add, taking over USD and having back to back 11-1 seasons and winning the Pioneer League, and then taking over a 1-11 Stanford team and rebuilding them into a 12-1 BCS winning power house, and then jumping to the NFL and going something like 49-18-1 including playoff games over 4 seasons.
Do people seriously think a guy who could win at Stanford and the NFL can't win at Michigan. You can dislike the guy all you want, but to act like he's not a great coach and to compare him to Charlie Weis is laughable. At best.

Cardale Jones taken to hospital with head pain, reportedly a migraine - CBSSports.com
By Tom Fornelli
9/2/15
Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones had to be rushed to the hospital on Wednesday night after experiencing severe head pain, CBS Sports' Jon Solomon confirmed with Jones' high school coach, Ted Ginn Sr.
Ginn received a call about the incident at approximately 10 p.m. ET.
Jones' family members initially took to social media expressing concern for him.
"Everyone please pray for Cardale," wrote Devonte Jones on his Facebook page. "I just got a call saying they had to rush him to the hospital for a bad headache and he couldn't move."
Sheena Jones, Cardale's sister, also posted on the social media service, "Please keep my brother in prayers tonight, he was rushed to the ER."
Tony Zarella of Cleveland 19 News first confirmed with Jones' family that Cardale was experiencing "severe head pain," noting the player was "still undergoing tests" at the hospital.
Later Wednesday, Dave Briggs of The Toledo Blade spoke with Jones' mother, who confirmed that her son's hospital visit is over a headache. "He's good," she told Briggs.
Jones and the Buckeyes open their season against Virginia Tech on Monday night. He was expected to split time with quarterback J.T. Barrett, though his status may need to be updated by coach Urban Meyer on Thursday.
An Ohio State official had no comment on Jones' health when contacted by CBS Sports late Wednesday evening.
Hope he's okay, but I don't understand the families first reaction is to start posting on social media. I would head to the hospital first. You can post something later.

Maryland: Jeff Ermann is reporting that Maryland plans to fire Randy Edsall following this weekend’s game vs. Ohio State. Ermann’s report says that Maryland plans to do so, “barring an unexpected last-minute reversal” as the Terps would be entering their bye week.
football scoop
They could look awfully stupid if there is a dramatic shift in cable packaging and they are left without the ability to cash in on NYC and DC/Baltimore but still have to carry Rutgers as dead weight.I still have to do a double take whenever I see B1G and Rutgers and Maryland. Can't seem to get used to it. I can handle Nebraska there now tho...

I saw nothing in that article that showed Riley had anything to do with the incident. The word 'fostering' in that article is grounds for libel if it cannot be proven he did indeed actively participate in generating or enabling that type of culture.
