Who said that? Nobody, including the “experts”, the betting public nor the fans know how this game is gonna play out. Inclimate weather just adds another wildcard to the equation.

Also, if it makes folks feel better. Hard Rock supposedly has a first rate grounds crew that will have the field in great shape for Sunday evening. And the chance of rain around game time is 30-35%. In South Florida, that shouldn’t adversely affect either team.

Just turned on ND v Miami, Catholics v Convicts game (YouTube). Musberger announcing.

I am entirely to invested in this game and season .

Wyoming was ranked 14th that year. In Football, not rodeo.
ND baseball beat the Canes 9-8 the day prior to the game.
Kodak sponsoring the game updates.
Cosby show commercials.

Damn, so many changes over time.

Finished that game-Holy Smoke, watched this live but I was a young 19 years. Jimmy Johnson was a stud coach and cool as a cuke. Just had another weapon/play ready to dial up. A dominant team. ND played great and had so many opps to pull away.

I read somewhere that they also have some state of the art technology for removing moisture from the surface.

On 247 they always do crossover posts with reporters from opponent sites. There are a handful of great articles/interviews/podcasts on the Miami site about ND’s strengths, weaknesses, players to watch, etc.

There are maybe 5 total comments across all of these. Basically no interaction at all. Then on that clown Gaby’s echo chamber posts there are a hundred comments of varying stupidity and ignorance.

Miami fans don’t even want to be educated. They just want to bury their heads in the sand because for another two days they are still the offseason National champions.

For me, I take more issue for the notion that Miami plays on instinct.

...Okay? Isn't that kind of the idea? I would hope that ND players play on instinct too. Granted, instinct that is sharpened by coaching and practicing.

These hourly forecasts do get pretty inaccurate when you go out a few days

i’ve listened to pods from both sides. No one I heard is predicting a blowout. All the ND pods were unanimous that ND would win by a range of 2-10. Similar from the Miami guys. Tells me, they may be educated guesses but they don’t frickin‘ know anymore than we do.

I just looked at Miamis schedule from last year. I mean, they are talented and this could be a great game, but I don't know where all their confidence is coming from. We were in the natty, and they didn't play anyone good.

I’m not even clicking it to listen to these idiots. Never heard of them & I suspect the majority of ND fans have never heard of them. Hopefully, it doesn’t pick up steam & go viral to the level where it becomes a talking point on ESPN/FOX Sports and becomes part of the narrative before/during/after the game. But it’s X so I could totally see that happening.
