a coworker and also an irish fan told me today that it will be cold and rainy for the game from what he saw weather wise.
Correct. Every away game should be treated like a business trip.Nah that's for the fans imo. Players need to be laser focused on making tackles and putting up tuddies not getting distracted by pubs and redheads.

Calling Mr. EstimeI’m hearing rain
If they'd thrown it 27 times, they would've won.Remember the time ND threw the ball 26 times in a fucking monsoon

What's worse is that they attempted to throw even more than that. Kizer was sacked 5 times, so they tried to throw it at least 31 times, and I'm sure there were probably a few more scrambles made by Kizer, so it's very likely that ND had more designed pass plays than designed runs in the game.Remember the time ND threw the ball 26 times in a fucking monsoon
You see my man's beard? That's all weather climatized approved.Looks like Sam Hartman Heisman campaign launch weather to me
100%.Better to push through first day of travel (go to bed normal local time) then ready by the following am
i dont really like this plan tbh. Doing a redeye flight to Ireland, trying to fight jet lag and then doing a thursday afternoon practice..thats a huge amount of fatigue thats going be on the players
This is the way to do it. I land in the morning, right to my auntie's house, proper cuppa, pub for a few pints, then get on with the day. Fight through it.100%.
Flew to Ireland last month. After a 2 hour delay in Newark, we took off around 1:00 AM (EST).
I rested on the flight, but didn't sleep well - more in little chunks that added up to maybe 3 hours.
We landed at Shannon around 10:45 AM local time and pushed through until about 10:30 PM. I was definitely dead on my feet by the end of the night but slept well until about 7:45 AM and was perfectly fine the remainder of the trip.
Dan looks like he was really suffering on that flight……
Business class bro, not for the poors 😁Dan looks like he was really suffering on that flight……

They are flying tomorrow.Did this last time I flew to Bangkok for work. Landed at 6 AM, walked as much as possible around the city, made it until about 9 PM and then my body shut down. Felt pretty normal the rest of the trip.
I'd ideally like to see them fly to Ireland tomorrow, giving them Thursday and Friday to adjust, but I think they'll be okay with the current schedule.
And the Navy players will have to deal with the same travel circumstances although they are a little closer to Dublin due to being on the east coast.Really glad to hear that. Coach Kelly said that he really hated the overseas game because of the time zone disruption to everyone's cycles, and the game prep rhythms. Not sure even three days is enough but football players are tough.
They are flying tomorrow.
We’re in Galway now. Was a good chance of rain yesterday and it ended up sprinkling only a couple mins. This morning looks to be another fabulous day of touring (cloudy). Forecast in Dublin on Sat. now shows a chance of morning showers and turning cloudy and some sun with a high of 64 degrees. Perfect weather ahead for Saturday evening. Being that the all seats in Aviva stadium are underneath cover and just the field is open, hopefully, that type of stadium design creates a natural wind block to assist in the unleashing of the ‘Air Sam’ show! Go Irish!66 and cloudy is the forecast, no rain
