AP Top 25, Week 6

Ohio State got exposed. That offense isn't very good.

I was really surprised that Michigan State didn't move up the ranks more after their win against Wisconsin. That was a tough game and I clearly think that MSU is stronger than Michigan by alot. Michigan won, but in a shootout with IU. Granted IU does have a good passing game, but it also showed AGAIN, that Michigan does not have much in the way of a defense.

same. hopefully they're extra pissed off now and take it out on usc this week. they could score 60 easy on them.

I'm kind of torn on this. I think Stanford is good and want them to play well (because it makes ND's bad loss not look as terrible). But I would also like to see SC ranked when we play them the final week. I'm thinking the Trojans could easily have 4 loses going into that game. I hope it's more like 2 though.

I'm kind of with you in your thinking. I want to beat USC period, but I want them to be a decent team when we do. I can already hear it now. USC has 4 losses on their record and we finally beat them this year, and all the talk about how our win doesn't mean anything. If we beat a good USC team, then it might be another story.

I was really hoping USC would win last weekend to make Stanford look better for spanking them this week and for us at year end. I think they will only get worse the next few years and I was hoping they would be a solid top 25 when we played them.

Talk about a tough stretch for the Tree. ND, Oregon then USC?? Are you kidding me?

If MSU only goes up a few spots then Wisconsin should drop out of the Top 25. Sparty dominated Bucky.Then again, Wisconsin is hard to judge since they play nothing but D II schools to start every freaking year.

the big ten is pretty good this year, and at this point it's hard to say who will win that conference. I think MSU is a real contender in that conference. I think we will see MSU in the top ten here in a few weeks.

Just checked Utah's schedule... They play Air Force, TCU, and then ND. Could bode well for us, but they may take a loss or two through that stretch.

The Utah-TCU game will be interesting to watch.

the big ten is pretty good this year, and at this point it's hard to say who will win that conference. I think MSU is a real contender in that conference. I think we will see MSU in the top ten here in a few weeks.

the big ten is very deep this year... I'd say when it comes to quality teams they are certainly among the deepest in the country... which says a lot when you consider where that conference has been recently in that regard.

USC is going to get f'd up on Saturday by the Cardinal. They are so much better than any team they have played to this point.

Stanford is so much better fundamentally... but SC is still one of the most talented teams out there...

The Cardinal should win this, but SC has the potential explode on anyone any given week.

I agree with you. USC is in trouble this year and Stanford should win this game.

that could work either way. if they lose it will make them focus more. if they win athe two before us they could overlook nd and take it for granite. should be a good game with utah if nd keeps getting better every week i like our chances but we will have to play a complete game and thats something we have not done all year so far.

I think that's what happened in the Cardinal v Ducks game. Obviously, Oregon has one of the most skilled offenses on the planet...but Tree is just good at football. Eventually, however, the pure talent and speed of Oregon was bound to take over that game.

Not saying USC=Oregon, but they have similar, if not better, athletes. Tree's players will have to focus for the entire game because the second they stop playing at 110%, USC's players are better.
