Before we can count how many sexes there are, we have to define what a sex is. I define sex as a biological category associated with production of a certain gamete. All people are either sperm-producers (future, present, past, or theoretical, in cases gone awry) or egg-producers (future, present, past, or theoretical.) Therefore, it can reasonably be said that there are only two sexes, and if everyone, no matter how unusual, ultimately qualifies as male or female, then it can reasonably be said that there is no intersex category. It's amusing how confidently wrong so many people on here are. I think most of you missed where I said I was intersex. I got tested and found out the results this past spring. So you all can continue this dumb debate amongst yourself, but it's been scientifically proven that I'm biologically not a male/female.
You all should really try to educate yourselves, you might be surprised what y'all learn
Nevertheless, I'm not just here for debate. I ultimately like and care about humans, and I realize biology can be very complex regarding chromosomes, hormones, brains, gential appearance, etc., regardless of how we label any abnormalities. I'm curious to hear the particulars of your condition if you're inclined to share.
