So just like some other recent shootings. I suspect you are going to condemn the shooting and say no one deserves to be killed. And then are you also going to go into all the mean things that the victims said and give reasons why they were shot? It’s only fair.![]()
Southport mass shooting suspect Nigel Edge was decorated Marine and Purple Heart recipient who did 2 Iraq tours
In his years since leaving his heavily decorated career with the Marines, Edge appears to have become a paranoid and delusional conspiracy theorist, according to online records.nypost.com
One suit, filed in May, claimed the Generations Church was behind a “civil conspiracy” masterminded by the LGBTQ community and white supremacist pedophiles to kill Edge because he’s “a straight man.”
In another suit filed in January against the Brunswick Medical Center, Edge accused them of being a part of a conspiracy launched by “LGBTQ White Supremacists” who were targeting him because he survived their attack in Iraq.
Another mass shooting over the weekend from a white straight male. Anyone heard from RDU? This is his neck of the woods and sounds an awful lot like him
You can call me whatever you want. But that is exactly what you did.Dear Lord you are a moron
We don’t need to circle back to Charlie. I need your infinite wisdom on all the mean things these people said, and your insight on how that relates to them being shot. I’m just trying to make sure you’re consistent.Again jokes on me for trying to facilitate a hard conversation. Just because you didn't like the topic conversation doesn't mean I was justifying why he got shot. Is this what Charlie felt like getting his words represented?
This sounds a lot less politically motivated and instead, just straight up mental illness issues or maybe drugs if what you're saying is true. Shooting up a Mormon church because you believe they're part of an LGBTQ & white supremacy pedophile operation to kill you screams psychosis driven by schizophrenia, PTSD, or drugs.![]()

You might want to read up, these are two different incidents. This sounds a lot less politically motivated and instead, just straight up mental illness issues or maybe drugs if what you're saying is true. My feelings hurt? How many times have you left the board? Welcome back again, and again by the way.You circled back to Charlie not me. If you can't handle having nuanced conversations without getting your feelings hurt maybe you should not partake. Again no one was justifying anything, just trying to add context on why certain groups of people feel a certain type of why about the hateful rhetoric someone spewed.
Ahh, so I see. I was just responding to your comments before reading the article and assumed you were still talking about the guy who shot up the church yesterday. I'll stand by my assessment of Edge, however. Weird conspiracies and lawsuits, bizarre writings, and increasingly odd behavior. Given his history, PTSD or schizophrenia sound likely. As for the guy who shot up the Mormon church, I haven't seen anything about his motivation or history yet, other than he was in the Marines at one point. You might want to read up, these are two different incidents.
He said he likes to hunt, so I’m assuming he’s a right wing extremistColorado doesn't like hunting?
I think if you can compare both shooters, they were both in the military, both and Iraq and I believe they were both at Camp Lejeune in North CarolinaAhh, so I see. My point was simply blaming whole groups of people for the actions of one. I agree anyone that is doing this kind of thing has a lot of issues going on. I just find it comical how much silence there when the killers are from one group of people vs others.Ahh, so I see. To be fair, though, when we see one shooting after another from a particular group, it's not unrealistic to notice and ask why. Nobody wants "their people" to be called out, and sometimes its just coincidence that there's an uptick of bad events from this group or that, but sometimes it happens over and over and over and it's an actual pattern. I'm not singling out a particular group with that point. Just saying that there have been a number of times when members of various groups have indeed committed certain acts of violence, destruction, crime, and terrorism to a degree that vastly exceeds their percentage of the general population. Understanding why is part of solving the problem and reducing such acts.My point was simply blaming whole groups of people for the actions of one. Silence? Yesterday was Sunday. My point was simply blaming whole groups of people for the actions of one. I agree anyone that is doing this kind of thing has a lot of issues going on. I just find it comical how much silence there when the killers are from one group of people vs others.
I agree, that's why I'm still here trying to have conversations about the why, but no one here actually wants to have that conversationTo be fair, though, when we see one shooting after another from a particular group, it's not unrealistic to notice and ask why. 🎶Charlie's in a box...in a box...Charlie's in a boooox!..Nanananana....Charlie's in a box...in a box...Charlie's in a boooox!..Nanananana🎶We don’t need to circle back to Charlie.
that answer is pretty easy.I agree, that's why I'm still here trying to have conversations about the why, but no one here actually wants to have that conversation
most of the mass shootings in this country are done by white men. Let's ask why

Trying to facilitate a hard conversation with an insinuation? "Why isn't anyone talking about the Trump supporting white man that shot up and set a Mormon church on fire today?" lolAgain jokes on me for trying to facilitate a hard conversation. I was referencing myself earlier there. Today calling out the hypocrisy of the whole thingTrying to facilitate a hard conversation with an insinuation? "Why isn't anyone talking about the Trump supporting white man that shot up and set a Mormon church on fire today?" lol
He’s not serious. He’s happy and letting Bua sing about Charlie being in box… but just trying to have a nuanced convo. Lol.Trying to facilitate a hard conversation with an insinuation? I thought we all had bua on ignore?lol the hypocrisy is incredible.
I like to hunt. Does that make me an extremist? He said he likes to hunt, so I’m assuming he’s a right wing extremist
You have to change that avatar-it gives me negative vibes.Haven't worn skinny jeans in 10 years. I am happy to have a 30/31 inch waist.
No soy latte. I am partial to a good cappuccino though.
