No reason for me to venture in this hornet’s nest except to say that this is a horrific tragedy and I feel horrible for everyone affected and the Minneapolis community. It’s a terrifying thought that we aren’t always safe celebrating the Mass, even more terrifying that our children aren’t.

If I'm correctly remembering what I heard yesterday, there's something like 400 million guns in the U.S. Of that 5% are AR type rifles. 3%-4% of all homicides are committed with rifles. If you remove AR type rifles, it's not going to put much of a dent in reducing murders.

The people committing these larger scale attacks are sick and even if a AR type rifle is outlawed, they will find another way whether it be a bomb, knives or driving their car into a building or crowd.
