American Asskickers provide goodwill with their 'sangfroid!'

I didn't see an thread anywhere about this. Three things I loved : It made me laugh; they actually used the word sangfroid; and, all things political aside, it is nice to see American youth taking names and kicking ass in such a positive fashion, in a high-visibility situation.

Sadler told The Associated Press that they saw a train employee sprint down the aisle followed by a gunman with an automatic rifle.

"As he was cocking it to shoot it, Alek just yells, 'Spencer, go!' And Spencer runs down the aisle," Sadler said. "Spencer makes first contact, he tackles the guy, Alek wrestles the gun away from him, and the gunman pulls out a boxcutter and slices Spencer a few times. And the three of us beat him until he was unconscious."

This story is the best. I watched the news on like four different channels last night so I could keep seeing it. 'Merica.

The irony that America always gets lambasted as the "only place with mass shootings"... which is pretty much true. You always hear things like "in other countries, you don't have people with assault rifles"... which, again, is pretty much true.

And then the moment there is about to be mass murder in France, it's some quick-thinking Americans that rush into action and save dozens of lives. Go figure.
