My father and uncle were both kicked into the exchanges against their will. Were both given healthcare in name only and both were dead within a few years. But yeah, it’s the right that lies and kills people and the ACA is amazing. The left completely looses me here. It’s like the ads Biden is pushing currently talking about how he and the left are gonna bring back manufacturing jobs from overseas,... some of us actually pay attention.

AP has been bad for a while now. They do mask it more than most, but it's thinly veiled.

My favorite was short lived trend of begging a stranger for forgiveness. And the other in Seattle, where white people were challenged to find a person of color and give them money.

I've never been "proud" to be a color. And I'll never apologize for it either. I'm not a color.

it is funny lib journo/politicians lack the ability to contextually analyze the Barrett stuff. I suspect few if any of them grew up with parents that cared about them.

I have been to many non-Catholic and Catholic weddings, its one of THE iconic wedding readings that men are the head of the family...and then all the stuff about men honoring their wives and what not.

And anyone who hasn't heard the phrase about building a Kingdom of God...the burden is on them to do a quick Google search of what that means before rage tweeting about theocracy (ugh a boy can dream though) or handmaid's tale.

Speaking of Handmaid's Tale, I watched the first couple seasons of the show. The folks in that show are definitely NOT Catholic. I didn't read the book, but a 10 second Google search says the book specifically names Catholics as a group fighting against the government.

I grew up Catholic in the 70s/80s literally down the street from a church in a very ethnic neighborhood. While it is true a lot of women stayed home, my mother worked. My aunts ran a business. And a lot of the women that stayed home were extremely strong and more or less led the family. All this subjugation bullshit is nonsense.

Comparing Swing flu to Covid is so silly. Worldwide H1N1 had less than 500,000 confirmed cases and less than 20,000 deaths. By Covid's standards that's not even a pandemic. Covid is a pandemic the likes of which we see once in 100 yards. Hearing Biden talk about how they locked down H1N1 is ridiculous. They had no mask mandate, didn't shut down the economy, no social distancing suggestions, what did they even do? The fact is Swine flu just wasn't a disease on the same scale as Covid which is why it didn't spread and become as prevalent on a global scale.
