Lynch ended the Huereman chance when he was on his visit by telling him how much he hated being at ND. That's why Huereman was talking about appreciating getting the truth from Lynch.

This too. Thanks Aaron for that parting shot across the bow.

In modern college football, perception is reality. Elite prospects will see all these top players defecting, and assume something is deathly wrong with the program. It's already hard to pull elite kids out of the south and west without them heading to easier programs. How are we going to do now? It's going to be much, much more difficult. Every coach will neg recruit us even more.

He'll transfer to whatever school is closest to his fiance, because he obviously can't live without her

Notre Dame might has well focus more on academics and join the IVY league at this point.

I heard from a bitter FSU fan that he was an idiot who wasn't going to make it at ND. Point for bitter FSU fan.

Mea culpa. Josh Newberg reporting he's going to USF, not FSU. Surprising to say the least.

Don't you think he was impressed with USF's defense last year and was just dying to be a part of it and play for a Holtz?

Sunshine, bikinis, and no calculus.

I always feel bad when a kid leaves ND for the lifetime loss.

Today I feel worse for Alice. I enjoyed the conversations we had here Alice. Hope thinks work out for you and your son.

This.

Wish him the best, but at the same time, the repercussions of this are greater than the loss of a solid DE.

Agree on all counts.

Hope he looks back 30 years from now and doesn't regret this.

I would much rather be close to my girl while playing in the big east too. Who wants to play Okla, Usc, and Mich......lol...he must not be right in the head.

Exactly. In this era, we can never compete with this. Never.

Some are born great, some acheive greatness, some have greatness thrust upon them, and some transfer to home to Florida.

This kind of move is usually the beginning of a huge downfall for the individual. #arena football future#
