No one wants to make the comparison because it's too recent and he was behind good, but I'll say it... Love.

Not saying he'll be Love but that's what I see in those highlights: patience, leg drive, and top end speed that makes him pretty much untouchable when he hits the hole.

I didn’t want to say it out loud. Lower cut but yes. We also have to compare him to high school j love

Also, people hate him, but BD did a good breakdown comparing the two in the reaction pod

I liked Tre better but others seem to be really high on this kid. I don’t see the suddenness and decisiveness Tre shows but I do see the long range speed. I think his rating around 90 is about right.

I’m still curious/confused on how all of this moved so quickly. Prior to yesterday, I haven’t really seen his name mentioned on the IE boards that much and it didn’t seem like a guarantee he’d come back for an OV. Then he commits?

I guess crazy things happen when Seider is a great recruiter and the NIL department has their ducks in a row.
His comments post visit weren’t the greatest, but in his commitment piece on On3 he said he was just tired out from the visit

I want the Oklahoma commit because I think he is the second best RB after Spell. However, I do think Tre is a good complimentary piece. I would not take the Mass kid Rogers

A man gotta have a code
I love his acceleration, top speed and balance/drive through contact. He does not try to to bounce everything outside, tries to get N->S

I really hope he's a firm commit because he looks great. Didn't see his JR year statline but the highlights were a lot of fun

His HS is a perennial player in Texas HS football. Competition statewide is as good as it gets.
Statewide is one thing but who you play on your schedule is another....they played 2 teams in the top 100 in Texas last year lost to both and got "annihilated" by 35 by Waxahachie.

My reference was to their history , not last season. And Waco is not Dallas. Houston. or Austin but talent is still around, as is the case all over Texas. Kind of like Indiana with basketball...every kid is brought up with football in every town.

Well, Waxahachie is another school with rich history in Texas hs football, not a shame to get beat by them when you may be a bit down and they are on a roll. Located just south of Dallas, Waco 100 miles either side of Austin (to south) and Dallas (to north).
