The greatest DL recruiting class in history should probably have at least 75% of it able to pass a drug test.
Let's say Olu and Von Brandt commit soon. Is Simien a take no matter what? I wonder if ND budgets some $ aside for prospects who want to hop aboard and are considered takes no matter what
Wagner probably should have hopped on a while ago. He isn't the type of talent you have to take imo
Being able to afford Olu and Von Brandt is big boy stuff.
Miami seems like a long shot for Matthews so I assume they’ll stay on him. Also don’t have any other big time tackles committed.
Are Olu and Von Brandt the two?Gonna be a helluva week boys! Never thought I'd see ND land multiple 5*'s in a week....
Are Olu and Von Brandt the two?
Sounds like Notre Dame was willing to meet his price, while other schools had money tied up for other recruits.
damn! and Von Brandt as a high 4 Star? LFGOlu Olubobola and David Folorunsho.
for us poors, can someone give some details? This is the most frank recruiting story I've ever read lol. It almost feels like something that shouldn't have been printed. Never seen dollar figures being discussed this openly with high school recruits and there's not even an attempt to pretend like he might be committing elsewhere.

Well I am happy ND is willing to compete. Personally, I don’t love all aspects of this new era. However, it is the reality. Instead of being pissy, happy we are willing to play ballThis article is indicative of what I've been pounding the table and telling the board (to the annoyance of many) for months. It's not all about the money in every recruitment, but the money is a major factor in most recruitments at this point. That's especially true of the highly coveted, top of the board guys. These kids and their agents know where they're ranked. They also know how in demand they are for the programs across the country. They can love your campus. They can love the education you offer. They can can fit in with the team and really connect with the coaches. They can believe in what you're building... But for many of them, if you're not willing to meet the minimum threshold of their NIL demands, they're simply not signing with your school.
This is quasi-professional football now.
Psu fans are self loathing POSs. They'll be fine in their perpetual state of mediocrity.PSU fans have to be pissed that our irish staff are killing in the east coast with getting so many of the elite 4 and 5 star kids in the 26 class and now the 27 class looking like it could be the same
I don’t think you can rule out the Guard to Tackle transition here. We can’t forget about McKeough (may have butchered the spelling).Does anyone know if he’s a left or right tackle? Would be kind of nice to let him develop behind Black for two years and then take over.

Well said indeed!Psu fans are self loathing POSs. They'll be fine in their perpetual state of mediocrity.

So many moving pieces. Black has to return next year and I would assume Lambert returns next year. You can probably use next year as a year to figure out who is the future at each tackle spot between our 2 recent 5 star tackles (feels great typing that)Yeah, you’re right. Hopefully RT.
