Almost no way to squander WR recruiting in '27, its basically laid out for him.

Thinking a high rated WR from an Indy public school or the city of Chicago are non-squanderable is brave. Right now I'll take the field on both. That's not being negative, just mathematically realistic.

Love the top of 247's WR board as it lines up for ND if/when Carr proves to be who we think he is.

Plus, there's a lot of regional guys who haven't gotten the stars yet like Branden Sharpe, Austin Coles, Chuck Alexander

Had a late TD against Mater Dei. MD's had a track meet in the first half, their QB looked pretty good too. Wisonsin commit who was on J. Serra (Orange County, not Gardena or Bay Area) with Madden Faraimo. Chris Henry mossed a 5'9 DB on an 81 yd TD. STA must have put someone else on him in the second half, MD didn't score after halftime

In fairness, not every legacy shakes out the way you think it will. Look at CJ...

But this would be a huge addition to the class
Exactly. A few years back we were all thinking a highly ranked (at that time) legacy WR would end up at ND, but Mosley ended up going to Stanford.

Yes, I'm sure we could come up with a long list of qualified sons, brothers, and nephews that chose to go somewhere else. Jacob Eason and most of the Browner family, including Max Starks immediately come to mind.

I agree, getting JJ Jr. would be a huge addition to this class. A WR class of JJ Jr., Sales, & Brown would be big.

Wiltfong thinks Oregon might have the edge. We are competing with them for Sabb as well.

so we'll probably be in a who comes up with the biggest bags of money war with Oregon then since that is the game they play along with Miami

The way bidding wars go these days, if I was going to ND there's no way I would tell any reporter that. ND would always be about to lose me to the money schools.
