Sure why not. Unlikely he flips, especially with the way a lot of NIL deals are structured, but with a player of his caliber you absolutely have to try if there's even a glimmer of hope. Also, I could see A&M losing 3-4 games this year and being out of the CFP picture by the end of October.

I don't know about anybody else, but I'm really looking forward to watching his senior film vs Whisenton, who plays in TX class 6A (the highest). Spell is TX 4A, mid-level.

I would say Whisenton is the most underrated player in our class. But then I look at Monds...and Vaughn...and I can't choose

Nothing I've heard post-commit changes anything I heard pre-commit: the kid loves both schools. A&M's offer was too much to pass up, and made it contingent on him not making the trip to South Bend. ND chose not to match.

I'll ask around to my contacts down here but I'm not sure it matters what the pro-ND family contingent is saying.
