How things looking with this guy? He just visited Michigan this past weekend.

Rudolph is doing an in-home visit with him today. They are still going after him even after Merrill silently committed over the weekend. They are high on him and will continue to recruit him.

Kyle Kelly feels that Michigan is the team to beat right now.

Nichols has offers from Alabama, OSU, PSU, FSU, Tennessee, etc…. He’s going to end up a consensus 4 star. Not going anywhere.

Garvin is also the classic high-upside, 3 star, ND interior OL that they seem to hit on every single class.

I’m not sure. They already have 3 committed, and they seem to be after some bigger fish.

With that being said, Garvin and Nichols look like prime cut material if better players want in.

Patrick is a pretty big fish. Nichols is a top 250 guy and really good. Crazy talk they'd cut him lol. Can't see any of them getting processed but they should be open to taking 5 with some of the names left on the board.

Yeah not sure why they’d even have to let someone go with the new way things are set up.

My high school hockey team used to play but I have no recollection of any of the rules. I was concussed a lot back then anyway

Maybe Euchre is a Michigan thing, love me some as well.
Euchre is a Midwest thing. I was born in Valpo. My family is From northern Indiana. I lived in Cleveland and Indianapolis and been playing as long as I can remember. I used to play a ton in high school and college in Ohio but definitely taught in Northern Indiana.

I learned euchre when I was about 13. Then was taught double deck bus euchre. I haven’t played in ages, but like it a lot better.

I played it in college in upstate NY. Spent many a night playing, and many a day blowing off classes playing.

It’s huge in Indiana, or at least it was for me growing up here. Almost no one knows what it is outside of the Midwest.
Yeah, once you cross the Ohio River I think everyone plays spades. Euchre was a staple at every family gathering growing up, and when we were younger my parents played in a legit “Euchre club” (or maybe that’s what they called pineapple parties back then, idk 🤷🏼‍♂️) once a month.

Like lots of things, probably not quite as prevalent as it used to be, but I feel like euchre as a whole is uniquely midwestern.
