Welcome to Notre Dame Ben!
Looks like bad weight but that’ll change with a couple years in a college strength program.Excellent
Kid is already large.
He may be projected to be inside on the line. Mauling Guard perhaps.Looks like bad weight but that’ll change with a couple years in a college strength program.
Has the frame at 6-5 to be massive RT type
No argument about his weight. He’s not one of those 275lb kids that will need to be built up, just refined.Looks like bad weight but that’ll change with a couple years in a college strength program.

They could be introducing him to it now, no?Looks like bad weight but that’ll change with a couple years in a college strength program.

That dude probably eats a salad bar for a mid-day snack. He's an absolute house and it doesn't look sloppy.
Could get down to 320 if he deleted the salad.

That's what happens to O-Line in pass protection...Cant say real impressive at all. Outweighed the guy probably 60 lbs and got pushed back.
are you serious? Do you not understand how these drills play out?Cant say real impressive at all. Outweighed the guy probably 60 lbs and got pushed back.
Completely agree. These reps are MADE for the defense to win. Other than what you said, take nothing out of these for the offense. When I coached OL, I never had my guys work protection if they weren’t at least in pro pads (helmets/shoulder pads). It’s so hard to get an authentic rep with your punches without them. Injury is a distinct possibility—for O/D alike.
The only thing you can really glean from these drills for an OL is their get-off and footwork at the point of attack. Don’t pay attention to anything they’re doing above the waist.
Troller reaction?Cant say real impressive at all. Outweighed the guy probably 60 lbs and got pushed back.
Yes! It almost becomes an entirely different sport when there are no pads. I’ve even seen some of the fastest people on the planet run very pedestrian just by adding pads. Hand placement and many many other variables with/without pads. When I coached OL, I never had my guys work protection if they weren’t at least in pro pads (helmets/shoulder pads). Two of my best friends in college were from Batesville and Lawrenceburg. I gained an affinity for just about everything in the Cincy/NKY area…minus Skyline.Best ice cream ever. Hands down.
