If you want a pretty up to date way of checking visits, you can go to the On3 page for each prospect and see the "Visit Center". It will list them all in order of date, and includes a running tab of how many times a prospect visited each school.

Khary Adams - Loyola Blakefield - Cornerback

Adams has been to campus three times, with his upcoming OV being his fourth trip.
So, has he visited yet?

“But before visiting other schools.” He’s still taking his visit to ND.

He announced the date of his commitment before completing his other official visits. I'm not saying the commitment date is before he visits ND. I'm saying the fact that he announced the date of his commitment immediately after visiting PSU and before visiting us historically tends to indicate that he has already decided for PSU. Always a chance that the coaches can change his mind on the visit (assuming he takes it), but it doesn't bode well.

Put another way: If a prospect visits ND, has some more OVs remaining, but goes ahead a schedules his commitment date immediately after the visit and before taking other OVs, we would consider that to be a very good sign.

I don’t disagree with you, but if he keeps the ND visit they still have a chance. Thanks for the clarification.

If it is indeed down to ND and PSU, the announcement date doesn’t bother me. Wiltfong mentioning ND and PSU on an almost even playing field after the last PSU visit is big news.

I just don't get this if he goes to Penn St. Sure there are other reasons kids commit, but a borderline 5 star should be focused on trying to play in the league and maximize his talent. ND has had in the last two years:

Cam Hart - balled out his rookie year for the Chargers
Ben Morrison - a 2nd round pick coming off an injury at corner..extremely difficult to do at that position and smaller size.
Leonard Moore - number 1 ranked corner coming back to school by at least PFF.

This is on top of Mickens coaching up Sauce to be top 5 pick and I think Christian Gray is a number 2 corner most schools would love to have.
Would be nice if Cam had a conversation with him. They’re both from Baltimore and attend(ed) elite Catholic prep schools.

If it's down between PSU and US I like our chances Mickens is the best and the track record shows, maybe Sieder helps push us over the edge here

What would Sieder have to do with this kid? I would understand if he was from Florida, but I wouldn't expect there to be much communication between the two

PSU's defensive staff/secondary coaches wouldn't limit his potential in any way; they are very good. His location would seem to be a much bigger advantage for PSU.

Limit? Maybe not, but nobody has the recent track record of Mickens/Freeman between Hart, B Mo, Hamilton, Watts, Moore, Gray, Coby Bryant, and Sauce.

FWIW Eric Thomas at Irish Illustrated thinks we're currently running third to PSU and Oregon.

Penn State has sent quite a few DBs to the NFL in the last five years or so.

PSU can hang their hat on Joey Porter, Jr. just as much as ND can with Cam Hart & Benjamin Morrison.

It's really just JPJ at corner, but you are right on safety though.

Comparing the corners the Mickens has developed from 3 stars or low 4 stars, it really isn't comparable to only Joey Porter.

The kid says "Mickens is the best DB coach in the country, no one's better whether it's Safeties or Cornerbacks!" Sooo if you think that and go elsewhere....I don't know what to tell you at this point.

The Irish are also in the lead group for coveted cornerback Khary Adams. He also likes Penn State, Oregon, Michigan and South Carolina. I believe Adams family loves Notre Dame and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Irish emerge as the solo leader coming out of the weekend.
