You should see my eight grader.
5'11 190 lbs and already shaving.
If he didn't look so much like me at age 25, I'd be questioning my wife's honor.
It’s weird when it hits.
In 8th grade I was like 5’4, 125 lbs.
Showed up as a Freshman at 6’0 and 175 lbs., then by the end of the year 6’2 & 185.
I had a beard & looked like a college Senior at 15. Everyone thought I was on steroids or something. I never grew after that.

5-9 back up point guard in 8th grade. Showed up 9th grade at 6-5/180 and haven't grown since.

Can't help but get the impression that if ND gives him the green light, he'll commit.

That being said, they shouldn't rush to a commitment. It's still way too early to lock down your Vyper prospect for the 2025 class. The board will grow and more offers will go out in the next 8-12 months. Ritchey looks good in that video breakdown, but I couldn't help but notice a difference in how Loghan Thomas moves compared to Ritchey.

What's the DL numbers for the 2025 class? Lol, it's impossible to know right now. But right now, it's easy to say with comfort that four is likely the target. Is Ritchey one of the four best players that they should take? I just don't know about that right now. I do believe that his HS is going to play him in more of a standup rush linebacker role this season, so we should have a better understanding of his abilities as a prospect after his junior season.

Now, on the counter side, I'd take Burgess. He's raw, but how he moves already as 15/16 year old at 6'4" 240 pounds, is quite encouraging. I can see him as that 275 guy on the strongside edge position.

Kinda surprised he hadn’t been on commit watch. I would’ve bet money he would be the first member of the 2025 class, but he obviously got beat to the punch for that.

You are right. If you read that story on him today in 247 he really wants to go to ND. Was at another camp in Virginia on Sat and called Wash and asked him if he could come to our camp for Sunday. Wash said yes and he flew up to South Bend. Father a big ND fan, originally from Southern Indiana.

I'm thinking his offer isn't committable yet.

I'd venture size right now is the big sticking point.
sophomore with a beard you also gotta wonder if hes already went through a good chunk of the maturation process. I think its ok to see how he progresses through his junior year.

Committed to UNC.

He seemed to love ND. I know ND has a few other prospects at VYPER higher on the board, so I don’t think ND is losing out here.
