I think sometimes we forget how good of a college linebacker Coney was. Jaylon and JOK were absolute freak athletes. Coney produced at a crazy level in his years here. We’ve been spoiled by linebacker play for a decade plus

He got deleted by accident on an edit. Statistically, his JR year is right there with Manti's SR year.

Not 1st semester. Pulled straight C's with a rando C- for a 1.9 something and landed on probation.

*Not bad for a 19 year old who could legally drink for the first time

That's a great point. I sometimes forget Coney and picture he and Morgan as the same player.

Per IB Recruiting Hour,

OSU visit may have tempered some of the highs of the ND visit, but they all feel (Driskell, Davis & Roberts) that ND still maintains a lead.

A defensive class with the current commits and adding NOB, Madden, and Blair surely has to be the best since Holtz right? Missing maybe a true stud on the DL, but my god that back 7 class would be loaded

Hopefully, you pair the ‘25 back 7 class with an elite ‘26 DL class.
The ‘26 DL class is loaded with top 200 ranked DL from ND friendly areas & a few have already said ND is their leader.
