Not to toot my own prophetic horn, but as soon as it was looking highly probable Deuce was on the loose, I said in 2025 Master Thread that it made sense to go after Blake Hebert as Clemson seemed to be an odd fit and there was good interest from both sides but I'm assuming back then we told him he was an ND no go as soon as we believed Deuce was our Golden Goose

After book and Pyne noodle arm is not how I would describe RL.
Honestly, I hope you are right, and maybe I missed some throws, but these days wondering if Leonard can actually clear 40 yards. Not sure if he tweaked his arm or what.

Back story. Hebert is from out here in Vancouver, Canada. He's from Maple Ridge, which is a smaller town about 45 minutes or so outside Vancouver. I vaguely recall hearing around the Bantam (age 12-13) leagues about five or six years about a QB that was putting up some great numbers. But, then the world kinda stopped due to the pandemic and football didn't happen. And I had forgotten about him until today. Turns out that that QB was Blake. Pretty cool.
Is he Quebecois?

Jamie U with the worst week possible to draw the Cam Rising comparison

In all seriousness, the weaknesses described in the film breakdown are all fixable. He's the perfect sort of guy to take in between Carr and Grubbs. If he wants to be here, I'll take him over a half-hearted Deuce any day.
