Loy's saying some new guys are getting CB'd today. This is as good a possibility as any.

Really like his movement and size. If he could stay outside like they thought Mills could, you're looking at a better Rochell and maybe something along the lines of a Tuitt.

Watch his hoops film. He can catch flat footed, go straight up and flush. That's not common for 6-5/260+ humans.

Is this the reason May's commitment came off the board when it did? Timing matches. I see that May is rated higher but maybe not as athletic as Campbell?

Bull in a Chain shop. Plays like a 105mm howitzer.

He's going to need a lot of development. He's pure power right now. It looks to be a case of he's just bigger than everyone he goes against.

We can drool over the traits, but I don't think he's what ND needs. There are better prospects on the board with higher floors. Between Reiff and Campbell, that is a lot of hope and projection that they can develop into interior players. Reiff with his weight gain, and Campbell with his football development.

Legitimate question, not trying to be snarky--What interior prospects are you seeing ND in on? Pickings seem kinda slim to me?

Also as it stands right now I believe Campbell is projected to SDE, not the interior

I'm guessing they assume one of Reiff or Burgess ends up inside

Their board has a few players on it. Jarquez Carter, Ethan Utley, Antonio Coleman just to name a few. ND is likely trying to get on the inside with all three of them, as of right now.

Campbells body type looks like a DT. Even if he’s only 260 right now. Reiff is being recruited to play a sort of hybrid role - outside in a three man front, inside in a four. Burgess could grow into an interior player, or something similar to Reiff. Hard to tell right now because known of these dudes have been in a college S&C program.

Probably hitting the portal for interior dline next year or two

Yeah its the next bubble on the roster

They really needed to take more like three space eater types in the 2024 class

Instead dropped Wafle and couldn't flip the guy away from Georgia

Now they gotta hope hit 1.000 on Houston and Sellviano and....oh yeah....also need Mukem and Vernon to hit as well converting to the interior

Also Rubio needs to comeback in the fold and Hinnish needs to at least be his brother's 5th yr version

Lots of if's and and's to feel too confident about for 2025 thru 2026

And ND is not really setup right now to be eating on interior dlinemen in the portal

Tend to agree with both assessments. Imo, a big space eater on the inside is the missing piece for this D on 1st and 2nd down. At this point, we're basically taking flyers on guys who'll need 40-70lbs to compete at 3 tech or nose.

Some will hit, but many of those guys will struggle to add or stay at that weight.
