Tiny note but kind of a big deal if it holds - Tom still likes ND following the OSU (dream) offer.

Singer echoed the same sentiment.

Although, he believes his recruitment is far from over, and isn’t overly confident that ND will remain on top.

Shanklin tweeted that his recruitment was "wide open"

In today's CFB world, I just assume that means the highest bidder.

I’d hate to agree on that, but you’re right.

Usually after spring visits, prospects start to narrow, not widen, their recruitments. Granted it’s only April and he’s still in his spring visit phase.

Yawn. It is 2024. These kids know how to market themselves and keep options open. They should do this

Alternatively its when a team or a run of teams that were in a top20, 10, 5 have told a recruit they are no longer recruiting them

It makes absolutely no sense that ND has been heavily recruiting him for a year and ND is the perceived leader--and then suddenly in April of his junior year an incurable issue with his transcript appears out of nowhere and ND is completely done with him.
