If they have to take athletes and make them WR, so be it. You do what you have to do. This guy, by all accounts, appears to be a very good athlete. The upside is there to make him a very good football player.

Using the (extreme) exception to the rule as an example doesn't change my point. I have no issues with the Richardson pledge. In fact, I love it in a vacuum. Just hope the staff goes out and gets 2 more polished receivers (not just warm bodies) for the class because if even this kid does hit, it likely won't be for a few years.

He's the #4 receiver. He just got taken at 2 or 3... depending if you consider Bettis a WR..

To be fair, Jamie and Mike from ISD said this during the summer after Meadows committed to LSU. They basically said that the staff (Freeman, Brown, Bowden) botched the WR board and that Mike Brown is really struggling on the recruiting front.

I'm looking at my Google calendar and I've got al the time in the world for young Antavious because I've got a shitload to do until about 7 PM CST tonight.

The situation currently is what it is. Recruiting is fluid. You take "flyers" or you do nothing. Either way, you're going to have people who come here and bitch about it.
