Per Ryan Roberts, Young is their top target on the RB board. They want his size & speed to compliment Aneyas Williams. They view him as Audric Estime - but faster.

Young has great feet, not afraid to take the inside track and has really good contact balance. Hard not to see a solid starter as his floor and a potential All-American. Would be an amazing complementary add to Aneyas.

We're finally starting to really stack talent, I hope Kedren wants to help complete the transformation of ND into a feared backfield.

Lufkin is a hotbed in Texas HS FB. Not the typical area in deep East Tx where the Irish pull recruits. Have to think TAMU, UT, OU, LSU, UH, etal will be around before it's over. Susupect NIL will be a player here.

Ryan Roberts did an article about ND’s recruiting in Texas and the possible 8 commits in two years, & all but said Loghan Thomas was in the class then talked about how ND was in a great spot with Kedren Young. So I think ND must feel confident?

Phenomenal job by the staff to get in early here. At the time ND offered. his next best offer was either Purdue, ASU, or Ga Tech (take your pick). Since then, all of the big-time Texas schools have offered (Texas, A&M, TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech) as well as Michigan and Miami.
